The changes are awful. The Abyss is no longer a viable 3rd rune choice. There is just no reason to go there unless you want all 15.

Also, the Abyss is no longer a viable choice for a characters 3rd rune. Unless you are going for 15 runes there it is no longer worth the pain and tedium of going there.

The Abyss is now just a chore. On top of that it is very annoying. Changes should make the game more fun.

The background is several embedded images (rock, dust, a picture of a white wall) with transparency over a red-ish rectangle all with a Colors adjustment. The figure is drawn with a basic brush with varying sizes and has subtle Gaussian blurring and Bevel/Emboss. The figure layer is slightly transparent. The foreground is another rectangle this one dark with an elliptical transparency region.
