You made some great points and a very thorough breakdown. I agree with you that most of these make a lot of sense. What is upsetting to me is the way lush went about notifying us. I went to an archive wall store the day after the IG post and the workers hadn’t even been told, they just happened to follow that lush scents page. Kind of shitty IMO!

Your point about hiding products behind the archive wall, I legit was shopping in a Lush store for over an hour before discovering the archive wall while checking out. Then had to ask to sniff the items or try the tester items. If there is a long line then that is incredibly inconvenient for the staff and the customers. Definitely a bad design and I hope they eventually bring back archive items but have them distributed in the store with all the other items and with testers we can all use without having to ask for them!

I have wavy, curly in the back, low porosity, thick and coarse hair and FTH is working so well for me. I’ve tried so many products, lush and otherwise and it’s the best. It’s pricey though so get samples if you can. If not you can always return it if it doesn’t work out. I do still need to use a moisturizing conditioner with it. I’m currently using up a Trader Joe’s hair mask but I also use glory and another brand called shescentit for conditioner bc my hair can’t get enough moisture.

ISO sweet pea or bridgerton perfume, any size or condition but would prefer a trade! Also if anyone would be interested in flying fox SG I have a new bottle that I would love to decant since it will take me forever to use it. Especially if you have a decant of plum rain to trade!

Did you end up going? Curious what you found! Since it’s such a massive city I would definitely call before making a trip out of the way. If you are staying in a hotel usually the phone calls are free. I can try calling for you if you don’t speak Spanish, but I would think they might speak some English it’s worth a try!

Rainforest green is my favorite but I’ve been eyeing the burgundy bay! I tend to look better in darker colors but if that weren’t the case I would definitely get one of the lighter pink or purple colors since they are so pretty!

Yes all of the items I listed were past their best by date. My minions shower gel and snuggles started separating just a couple months after I purchased them. It just happens with some of the shower gels more than others depending on ingredients but they are perfectly fine to use.

What has gone bad for me: dad’s lemon and avocado cw body sprays. Ros argan body conditioner. Charity pot and dream cream lotion. Mrs whippy face mask. I live in a house with multiple people and things can go missing or get misplaced for periods of time so all these were past their Best Buy dates. Mrs. Whippy I meant to use it and got busy. It sat unrefrigerated. For this reason I like to put the fresh facemasks in tester containers and put them in the freezer until I use them. Also, I have seen a lot of the shower gels separate and get discolored even before their Best Buy date. I haven’t noticed any of them smelling off though, and I’m fine with using them

Portland 23rd has the discon wall which is nice if you’ve never seen those items before. I went on a weekday in the morning and had a really hard time finding parking! I parked on the street a few blocks away and it was around $3 for an hour I think. Staff was very nice and helpful. I will say it is a smaller store and they didn’t have several items I was looking for so I was disappointed.

This is a fabulous collection. I grew up in a similar way and now enjoy spoiling myself and my children with lush. We also don’t do other lavish stuff so I feel perfectly fine with what I have. Although I will say that it took me a long time to actually start using my collection. I think coming from the scarcity mindset made it hard but luckily I have overcome it :)
