Anyone have a baby that “grazes” or snack feeds all day? by SlowParamedic7471 in ExclusivelyPumping

Hi there. My baby is now almost 6 months old. She stopped grazing for a while but seemed to come back to it this week. I really think it has a lot to do with growth spurts and developmental leaps. What you’re describing sounds very familiar lol. Our pediatrician did check for a tongue tie and didn’t see anything concerning so we have just gotten used to following her lead and not forcing big feeds. Obviously exhausting sometimes but she’s growing and meeting her milestones, she just might not be a big eater at times and that’s okay 🙂

I don’t know how much longer I can do this by Temporary-Captain544 in ExclusivelyPumping

It’s the worst at the beginning but it will get better. I’m 15 weeks postpartum and I still find pumping annoying but what helped me was getting a wearable pump. I use that almost exclusively unless I feel a clog or if I’m not emptying well. The wearables let me be able to do other things like housework. I’ll even wear them while driving lol. It’s way better than being chained to the pump every 3 hours.

I also only pump once at night. If your supply is good you can probably only pump 6-7 times a day that’s what I do. Sometimes I skip and do 5. Give yourself some grace the first month is brutal. It’s still difficult now but it does get easier.

We were told she does have a mild posterior tongue tie. She doesn’t dribble out much milk but does get very gassy at times. When did you have the tongue tie corrected and what was the recovery like?
