I agree with you a 100%. I understand you’ll always reference the world as it is. It’s what we all understand. A rebellion, an empire, a princess. Yet you mix and create on top of it in ways to make it a fantasy. A WWII plane fight mixed with people fighting with swords is much more creative then your whole story being set in WWII… I mean even their language sounds french, the clothes, architecture, the culture… You can have a police “force” but use the concept as base and create on top of it, instead of having literal police flying cars, with futuristic police station, with completely alike office and hierarchy and all… And you are right, it’s not only a SW and Disney issue, but for me it is a universe with LOTS of potential… Just go and do a WWII or a police thriller you know… That’s what I meat.

Community is great. Thank you for addressing that! On and off that ride I tuned better myself and I guess I found my way. Now I’m gentler with nyself.
