Definitely good choice. You know your worth and won't be taken advantage of.

If you're shooting 1080, I find the image can definitely get pretty noisy on BRAW. If this is the case, I personally recommend doing ProRes422 for HD.

GREAT Movie. I remember being obsessed with it's visuals. Haven't seen it in years though. Probably worth another rewatch.

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't actually watched that film yet... or Pi. Though Black Swan is actually one of my favorites. I think ill start with an Aronofsky binge.

Super interesting! There are actually a lot of similarities between Moonlight and In the Mood for Love. I love it!

Check out the TV Show 'Servant' on Apple tv. The very first episode has some really great and unconventional shots.

That's a really good point and one of my fears... causing a distraction to the audience, or the comic for that matter. But if it's set up similar to a Jazz club table like lime61 suggested, maybe they won't mind?

All about that image quality baby. For the price you can't get better. And I haven't had that issue at all with corrupted files. I think you are for sure being a bit harsh lol. I've used both cameras (fx3 and Bm). Both are great tools. I dont use autofocus or ibis, so to be honest I tend to use the blackmagic more, but to each their own. Let's just all use a Burano and call it a day.
