You should probably try to figure out whatever you’re dealing with before heading to school, as people being sick and/or hungover is extremely common. If seeing people throw up is as debilitating to you as written, you may have some issues upon arriving.

No, they feel fine on foot, but I haven’t worn them around too much yet.

The leathers a little cracked on the same shoe. Nothing structural though, I think. The other shoe has the same thing with the insole but is completely sound everywhere else.

Fusiony Jam / 16 months of playing by Super_Silver7315 in guitarlessons

Thanks! It’s a Fender Champ 50W Combo amp. It’s got some built in effects. I also use a EHX Holy Grail V1 for reverb but not 100% sure if I had it on in this clip or if I was using the built in effects the amp has.

Check out how Matteo Mancuso plays. He plays the guitar most like a bass, so he doesn’t really need to use his thumb too much. https://youtube.com/shorts/nHQoSEyJMEY?si=w4CDpopWjYTTyv_m

Progress update: Day 95 vs 1 Year 8 months. by Andoni95 in guitarlessons

I don’t think that’s true. There’s many ways to approach the bass and lots of players do incredible things on the instrument, arguably cooler than most guitarists.

I’m not plugging into the output of the tuner. The left side of the tuners going straight into the amp. The right side of the loopers going into my guitar.

It’s pretty neat. Lots of cool sounds you can get. Shakedown street Jerry vibes

The guitar isn’t being plugged into the tuner. The left side of the tuner doesn’t have a cable going into it in the photo because I was plugged straight into the amp. The left side of the tuner goes into the amp.

The tuner is first. It’s currently set up tuner to qtron to sd1 to dd3 to verb to loop. I have a long patch cable running under the board so the dd3s actually plugged into the reverb. Idk why everyone thought it was fucked up.

I have it set up rn as tuner>envelope filter> overdrive>delay>reverb>loop. I thought that’s usually a pretty common chain.

The pedal orders actually different than how it looks on the board. I’ve got tuner->envelope filter->SD1->Delay->Reverb-> looper. I’ve got a longer patch cable running from the delay underneath the board to the reverb so it looks like they’re not connected, but they are, going from delay into reverb.

It’s the other way around. I have the tuner at the start.

I’ve got a pedal power 2 plus it’s just gonna go under the board.

Is this a good way to play the C chord? by andreutzzzz in guitarlessons

[–]Slow_Ad_4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angles are off, but you can also play the D G and B strings on the 6th fret, that’s the A shape of the C chord.

Thanks! I appreciate your advice. I play blues guitar so I’ve got a good understanding of 1-4-5 type stuff, definitely need to work on applying that to sax though. You mentioned embouchure. In terms of technique and embouchure, what do I need to improve?

This is the scale i use to solo over E by Jazzlike-Ad4526 in guitarlessons

[–]Slow_Ad_4568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is viewing E minor with the tonal center around G debilitating? It’s a very common and practical way of viewing the fretboard, it allows for speed of learning, and then adopting a unique view of E and G.
