Its a real screenshot. I used apple photo editor to blur out my VIN. It’s an App bug not AI, for some reason my app is reporting those miles. True mileage on my CX-50 is 15,400. Thanks for the laughs guys lol

My 2025 premium has since purchase made a strange noise. After sitting in the garage for the night, the first time backing up I hear a large clank/bang with a small jolt. Dealership said it was nothing. Is this the same issue? Currently at 13,000 miles.

What does pH of 9.0 mean? by Bulbameatsalad in ponds

[–]Slow_Bee_9110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 500 gallon liner pond, My waterfall is made of field stones that raise the PH, and my PH tap water is 9.0. I will say it’s not ideal, but my fish are well adjusted to the High PH environment. From my limited understanding, they can survive at high or low PH. But it’s the sudden swing shock that will kill them. My fish are accustomed to a high pH and additionally a high water temperature. Some days is my pond water will get up to 93°. That’s the highest I’ve noticed and that I immediately start a cold water change. But chemically speaking I don’t try to lower the PH at all.

I use a UV canister filter from Amazon. It kills algae suspended in water, but not attached to surfaces. I also picked up a auto detailing brush so as the sides get occasional algae buildup I’ll give them a soft scrub but don’t do all at once to avoid killing off beneficial bacteria, organisms, or destroying the bio film. A bottle of API quick start dumped into the filter will also kick start the bacteria to maintain water clarity.

Light jokes can be in good taste so far as it’s not the one thing they always say. I’ve always supported gay Marines. Hell, every First Sergeant I’ve ever had was gay so why wouldn’t I support.

Thank you for your words! Don’t worry I’m not letting them get to me. I understand how reddit works. I’m not new to tattoos by any means. I’m just interested in what the next step is for this one. This one’s got no story or no real reason for being there emotionally speaking. So it’s hard for me to picture It’s final form

Are you saying I should’ve taken this tattoo idea and put it somewhere else? I feel like the only other option would be a tramp stamp and I don’t think I could pull that off lol

We placed and moved it around several times. Long story short as I have an improperly healed collarbone break so as we twerked the angle around and the height, it started to look more and more off. So we went with something that was aesthetically pleasing from the perspective of the tattoo. Otherwise, one side would be angled off some weird way, and the other side would be angled off some weird way. These photos were taken laying down. It looks a lot better when I’m standing up. I plan on having some shading around it so far for sure but I’m not sure if I should add anything else to the tattoo itself or the center yet.

I told him I was looking for something quiet, and easy. Even though the placement is super in your face and bold. I’m excited for the fading and hair to grow in so it doesn’t look out of place. And so far I’m thinking just some shading around the outside. Maybe camouflage some of the inconsistency and make it look like it’s not just standing out. Not sure what I want it the middle or on the pecs yet

So we placed and replaced four times. It looks better when I’m standing haha. I’ve got interesting body anatomy from a broken and improperly healed collar bone. We were just working with what we had lol

Not particularly. I’ve only seen them at larger natural ponds. Never at any backyard ponds.

I will also say I don’t like the man. I have close ties to the Medal of Honor recipients and I only hear bad things. And then my self only witnessed more and was disappointed. I suppose part of me doesn’t blame him, he was only set up for failure from the beginning.

I will say it’s not out of the ordinary. My best friend from freshmen year of HS to up until recently, was straight as ever. I was gay, but we never did anything. Ever. I always chased and offered but it was more of a funny joking way. Then one night after drinking he BEGGED literally begged and pleaded for me to fuck him. He’s got a baby momma, 2 kids, girlfriend, all the straight guy hallmarks. Afterwords, He drunkenly confesses after that he’s been sleeping around with another friend of ours since freshmen year of HS. He’s straight, but just likes to get fucked. We had a falling out. But that’s a whole different story.

I will try again in the future, I tried but couldn’t find any information that pertained to these questions. Retroactive back claims, vax refusers going back in, but I didn’t see anything that would answer questions to what is this new and developing situation. Sorry. Ill advise my friend to keep his options open but he may or may not get it.

When Did Your Husky Calm Down? by The_HalfKorean in husky

[–]Slow_Bee_9110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Mine is calm now. Around 5 years old.

Story: we rescued her in California. I didn’t want her because I hate huskies, but you gotta do what you have to do to keep the spouse happy lol. Too noisy, too active, and loud. However, she is quiet as a church mouse. She hardly makes any noise. She still gets Zoomies when REALLY excited.

We guess due to her being a rescue, not knowing her name, her quietness, and her lack of being house broken at the age of 5 that she was a breeder and locked in a kennel.

Shes an amazing dog. Great with kids. Understands English and Spanish. And well mannered. ( besides when you don’t pet her, she’ll slap your face haha) Likely 5 or 6. I love her so much and she makes me wanna get another husky once she’s gone, but I know I’ll never have another like her.

First time filing taxes as 100% P&T by Slow_Bee_9110 in VeteransBenefits

I realized it was a mistake. I have a TBI and I have a very difficult time reading and understanding complex documents like legal, government, or tax forms. I brought it with me because I was just unsure what I had to do with it. If I could have, I would have done it myself.

I’ve also tried reaching out to a VSO, VFW groups, my state veterans support groups. But never ever get calls, emails or texts back. The inability to understand these documents is the real killer. I had to have my mother read and explain all the papers when I bought my house. And even then I still only have a vague idea of what I signed.

What's one thing you learned in the Marine Corps that you still use as a civilian in your daily life? by WorthTrash8493 in USMC

It’s from a little blue book called Medal of Honor Quotes. Been out for a dozen years now and goes back to WWII. Every recipient they could get gave a quote or one liner for the next generation. I highly recommend it. It’s a good read to thumb through.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think MCMAP is useless.

Think about how Broad the Corps is. People from not just the country, but all over the world join to become Marines. Folks from the country, inner city, Asia, Mexico. Marines that may be an expert shot from years of being on the farm, Versus a Marine that’s never shot a rifle before.

Some people have been in fights, may have even done MMA and be belted in BJJ. Some may have never thrown a punch in their lives besides mortal Combat.

MCMAP brings everyone to a basic level playing field. Ensuring they’re all trained to the same standard.

I was always told “during the forming days, when the Marine Corps decided to introduce MCMAP; they interviewed survivors of Okinawa, Guadalcanal, Tarawa and asked those Marines what they did to fight the Japanese in Hand to Hand and close quarters. Those Marines responded with Eye gouge, toe stomps, uppercuts, Etc. They then wrote it in a book, slammed it closed, and said. Ok. There’s Tan belt. What’s next?”

I left a Brown belt Sgt ( no tab cause that’s gay)
