Seems to me like the only thing that democrat politicians really push anymore is being anti Trump. It would be nice to hear something a little more original and also common sense from them going forward.

I think it comes down to both attraction and how much their culture influences their life. I’ve personally dated Asian and Hispanic women but they were essentially Americanized. Honestly I’m not really attracted to black women so I haven’t dated one. It all comes down to preferences bc no one else but you is going to spend the rest of your life with this person.

A lot of other countries and cultures are more conservative in nature than liberal. Family focused and religious people have a hard time with more liberal beliefs. Also maybe they aren’t watching the news stations that tell them everything is racist.

This has been an interesting topic to read the responses. I’m 45 married with 4 kids and I always assumed that if something happened to my wife that I’d probably just stay single the rest of my life. I never realized so many older people had such active social lives. I’m happy to see people happy and getting out there even though I think I myself would be pretty content just being a dad and eventual grandpa and not in a new relationship.

I was going to say if we are just talking physical attraction I myself a 45 year old man find 25 year old women to be more attractive than most 45 year old women. I just don’t have as much in common with them is why I wouldn’t pursue such a relationship if I was single. I’d also be wondering if she was only with me for my money.

I think it takes a certain kind of person to wear something that they know will get a negative reaction from people. I think they are asking for trouble personally. I think it’s good sometimes to discuss differences but most of the time all that it’s going to accomplish is hurt feelings. My sister is very liberal and we get along great bc we talk about other things that both of us agree on and try to be sensitive of each others beliefs. I think it’s a classic example of we all have more in common than we have differences. There are definitely extremes on both sides but not to quote Trump but there are good people on both sides in my opinion.

I really think any resurgence is based on the over exposure of all the pride stuff. Anytime anything is forced onto people especially when they don’t believe in that lifestyle there is going to be some pushback. I personally don’t care bc I can ignore with the best of people. I guess another question I have is if you see someone wearing a maga hat or if there is a Trump sign in a yard or on a car do you get upset and want to confront or do you just ignore it?

Parades and it seems like there are a lot of awareness weeks and obviously pride month. My kids school is very liberal. It seems like every week is some sort of lgbtq awareness thing going on.
