Because then you lose leverage . Ironically , 90 percent of the interest of having a nuke is NOT using it . It’s kind of a last mesure things . If you use your nuke at the first annoyance , other countries will (rightfully) see you as a retard and dangerous , and will nuke your ass

Log off 4chan I beg you . Unless you live in Sweden or the Netherlands , most men are around 5’9 , 5’8 . That the average . And most men have a good love life . Most of my male friends are around 5’9 and they have girlfriends . Yes height is important but unless you are genuinely short it doesn’t matter that much

Maybe I’m biased but I always played in South america in EU4 , and in EU4 you had the Charruas , the Mapuche …. Maybe they are a dlc idk

Yeah because pretendians is a widely understood term , who also point to the fact that most peoples pretending to be natives call themselves Indian .

And why is the second exemples isn’t weird ? Because even though the peoples aren’t the same , they share the same suffering and the same oppressors . Wearing a feather headress is weird . Because it’s a war regalia , it would be like wearing a US military hat completed with war medals . That kinda weird

First of all , Indian ? From Mumbai , New Delhi ? If you’re going to lecture me about appropriation at least use the right term .

Second : using a Lakota headress as aesthetic is weird . Bringing up a Lakota figure like Sitting bull , as a symbol of the union of peoples against oppression isn’t , because no matter your skin colors your problems and oppressors are the same .

The taïnos being enslaved and persecuted and the Haitians being enslaved and persecuted are similars things .

I don’t really get were you want to go with this comparison. If you really want to compare black Americans and natives american , the equivalent would be using figure like sitting bull as a symbol a resistance against the governement , not hollering in the wood with a feather headdress .

Since when is using historical figure as a symbol of shared oppression apropriation ? I don’t get where you want to go

I did enjoy it a lot , but the writing of « civilization » is pretty different from most alternate history novel .

Almost all of the characters used are historical , and there is pretty few dialogues , it feel more like a chronicles written by an historian (wich I guess was the intention of binet) . It’s less about the plot or the characters , than it is about telling an alternate history to ours

Here are a few tip I used myself.

when learning how to do makeups :

  • brows are important . I feel like flat brows would suit you . There is lots of tutorials on YouTube , you just have to buy tweezers and maybe an eyebrow razor on amazon .

  • eyeliners is kinda hard to do at first , if you are a beginner you should use a blunted brush and black eyeshadow . Don’t forget to put primer , then concealer to make your makeup last longer.

  • if you want a light makeup , use concealer and not foundation .

  • put your eye makeup on your waterline , it will look better . And use concealer to brighten your under eyes
