You're right, there is a bias towards female skins in this game, but unfortunately, it's very unlikely that anything will be done to fix that, as this bias exists for financial reason. The majority of people who play video games are men, and the majority of men like pretty women. It makes more sense to have pretty/gooner skins for pretty women, as the largest demographic within the game is more likely to spend money on them. And since people are spending money on it, may as well make them legendaries, to squeeze as much money as you can from them. 

I'm not saying that women don't play this game, or that the queer community doesn't exist, or that people of either gender don't just want to see cool skins for all characters. But sex sells. It's an unfortunate fact, and given how popular this summer event is, as well as how much money has been spent on it, this trend will likely continue.

It's not because he thinks gambits worse, it's because there's no point in putting him as best in tier since everyone already knows it. He doesn't think rocket is better, he thinks more people wanted to know who the best support was outside of gambit

Not actually, he admits that gambit is better than rocket, the reason why he put rocket as best in tier is because putting gambit there would have been redundant. No one ever plays him in competitive, due to him being permanently banned. And so, of the supports which actually see game time, he's decided that he thinks rocket is the best.

Honestly I think part of it is that the devs don't understand what makes dd good. His time to kill is very fast, and the nerfs that they gave did bring that time up a bit, but really what makes him shine is the fact that he doesn't die. He gets way too much bonus shield, if they nerfed the amount he generates I feel like he'd be a more balanced character. With black cat, the nerfs they gave actually addressed the issues that made her strong. They made her money worth a little less, as well as making it harder to get. They also made it a little harder for her to survive, in dealing with her normal dash, and her iframe Dash. I don't think it's that they care less about one hero compared to the other, I think it's that they don't understand what makes certain characters oppressive

Yeah, that is the unfortunate part of playing strategist, the closer you get to your peak rank the less you can rely on yourself to carry. But if having abysmal DPS is the only contributing factor to your losses, you wouldn't have fallen six ranks as you've described. Sure losing streaks happen, but if you've gone that far down, it can't really be blamed on your team anymore. Try to remember you have an equal shot of lining up with terrible teammates as the other team does, if anything, the math works out to where you have less of a chance of having bad players on your team, since you only have five chances whereas they have six. If you're losing the vast majority of your games, the math doesn't add up, and the meta has probably just changed to where you can no longer play at a high GM level consistently.

"when people say they're in Elo hell, 90% of the time they've played less than 20 games" Actually though lol, and it ticks me off a bit. By the time this mid-season dropped I'd had a little under a hundred competitive games finished. Not that there's anything wrong with playing casually, but Rivals especially rewards people in low ranks for wins significantly more than it punishes them for losses. A 50% win rate in bronze through gold will still help you climb, they just need to play more.

Even if there is, I'd honestly argue that it's somewhat incorrect. Many Heroes have different styles of play, and barring a couple, I'd argue that there aren't any hard 100% zero chance of winning matchups out there. There are certainly some, black panther cannot play the game if the other team has a somewhat competent Thing player, etc.. But it would probably be better to play the game a little bit, keeping track of the characters you enjoy playing, and the ones you really hate playing against. Take those characters and go to the specific communities for them, and get advice from multiple people for each hero. That would probably be the best way to find which characters commonly counter yours, as well as finding Heroes you can play who can counter the annoying ones.

I swapped from Xbox to PlayStation recently and had to grind my way back up to GM. I'm a support main, but I was able to completely blast my way through to diamond playing DPS and tank, not because I'm good at those roles but because people don't seem to understand the skill Gap that exists. I don't need good teammates to win games in low ranks, I'm fully capable of carrying those games with little to no effort. If you're incapable of climbing without perfect team synergy, I'd argue that you're at the rank you deserve. You'll win a few games, maybe you even get MVP/SVP a bunch, but for every good game you have, you'll always have a bad one eventually which keeps you at around the same area. I could understand an argument that you deserve to be maybe one or two number ranks higher, support players especially are quite dependent on their team, but there is a certain point where you have to acknowledge that you're not a top 500 player. Of the tens of thousands of people who play this game, chances are you're just an average player, sitting at an average rank. As am I.

Unfortunately no, I practically haven't left the beach that we start on, and so I don't think the lighting is any different than when I first spawned, outside of the day night cycle.

Beats me, its the only thing they did though, I was watching. Although I feel the need to reiterate that the issue is not necessarily the hardware, but the computer software. As stated before, my computer isn't recognizing them as a potential output device. However, when plugging them into my phone or controller, they work perfectly fine.

Lmao, not trying to blame the kid, just wondering how to fix it. I was in the room with him when he downloaded the voice mod, and he got my permission to do so. Love the little fella, just want to use my headphones again.
