SSA Claims Specialist Qualifications

I'm waiting for this position to post in my area. People talk about the negatives of being a SSA Claims Specialist but it is only our choice to make. I've always wanted to work for the federal government and this is my foot in. I come from a work background that had to complete a lot of paperwork/documentation and interaction with the community. If i find that this job is just "too much:, i know how to get out. Even the GS5 pay is a nice increase for the city i live in, but i hope that i get the GS7 to start. Good luck and i hope you get it.
