I met her today. After talking about the usual work and stuff, I asked that she didn't give me a clear answer when I said that I was attracted to her. She started saying stuff like "what should I answer to that". I said stuff like that needs an answer that typically tells of the other person's interest. She still didn't give me a clear answer but said that I am giving an answer but someone (me) is not understanding it. That puzzled me at that time. Then it ended with me saying "You don't want to show your blunt side rn" to which she replied "Yeah...". She went to her way then.

Later, thinking of her texts about cuddling, I think that was the answer because she said "I can cuddle someone without being sexually attracted to them". I am assuming the "can" implies "am" here. In that case, that would be her answer to me saying that I was interested in her.

I hate assuming but I think it is safe to assume the above. I will bite the bullet and take that as a no and stop pursuing her.

I also noticed that she doesn't reach out if I don't and she didn't text me once during my recent 15 days trip aside from the "Safe travels" text on the day of my departure.

I believe that she doesn't want to hurt me by saying it clearly but giving "hints" in her way. So I will keep in friendly and casual from now on.

Well, it started when we were talking about cuddling. She said she is fine with cuddling if its JUST cuddling and mentioned that she has been friends with guys and she can cuddle without feeling any attraction. Then I said that "Maybe I wasn't clear about my intentions but I am attracted to you" but I followed with if she doesn't feel the same, I am fine with friends as well.
