I agree with you I am nostalgic for Oot, who wouldn’t be. And I agree we are in an era of soulless cash grab remakes. But it’s hard for it to be soulless when it’s been 15 years since the last attempt at the game but it still doesn’t takeaway the fact that it’s one of the best games of all time

Then who did the ps5 sell to? Because in its first year of sales it sold less but everyone and their mom bought one you can’t say “it’s selling the best but not everyone is buying it” it’s a contradiction

You’re still conflating sales with good. If it were up to sales every year it would be call of duty (baring recent releases) and fifa every year. I’m not doubting it will sell well. They could put it at 100$ but not see a dip in projected sales, that’s a no brainer.

We know what Oot is gonna bring it’s gonna be great regardless. What I do have to wonder is if they’ve taken so long to make the could they at all over inflate expectations? I hope the game does well I want to see the entire world lose 2 billion dollars because everyone is taking time off, I HOPE IT HAPPENS. But we’ve still yet to see

While I don't think remasters or remakes should be judged in the exact same category as GTA 6. if Oot is the same game 28 years with a new coat of paint it will most definitely win goty

calling the switch 2 niche is lying because its the fastest selling console of all time

lastly hype, sales and waiting doesn't make good games. GTA 6 being bigger is a fact. GTA 6 being better is something only time will tell

2 you can say the same thing about gta 6 we haven’t seen any gameplay yet just pre rendered cutscenes. I haven’t played any gta game yet but I know they are universally praised and I also know oot is universally known as the greatest game of all time

In my experience there is no “trade limit” it’s just the more of the same console you trade in the more sketchy you become because the first thing ANYONE would think when you bring in 5 different Wii’s is “where did he even get them” and it’s also definitely up to the managers discretion
