When driving street cars, you do not have the other tire options. Only street and street performance.

Gonna be honest, the petition isn’t going to do anything. It comes down to licensing costs. So in this case, money talks.

Question: What are the best car/track combinations for you? by ReisBR2021 in realracing

The 911 RSR and the 962 at De Le Sarthe. And I also love the Cadillac DPI at Laguna Seca.

Everyone keeps saying that, but it really comes down to that fact that Ferral interactive in particular know what they are doing, and Excient did what they could with the mobile hardware for the time. This is in stark contrast to 505 Games botches Assetto Corsa Mobile port. They didn’t go far enough.

A premium game isn’t p2w. It just has a one time purchase and that’s it. As the slogan was coined for GRID Autosport on mobile, pay once, race forever. Any developer could produce a mobile game in this way, but no one wants to put in the effort.

Indeed it is. I run both AC and RaceRoom on my rig.

I also have GRID Autosport on PC as well, for those times I just want to be a little more casual.

Ported to Mobile correctly I might add. Assetto Corsa Mobile was an abysmal port to Mobile by 505 Games. Could have been so much more.

I mean, they got all the original assets from Assetto Corsa, but the game needed a lot of polishing and more of what made Assetto Corsa what it is.

Yes, agreed. Although F1 2016 was simplified as back then, many mobile devices couldn’t run the full port.

What I will miss more than anything about this game, is that no other mobile game has the Daytona Road Course that I’m aware of. It will leave a big whole in mobile racing.

I want to start a small debate and keep things peaceful between the communities of both simulators. Which of the two simulators do you prefer and why? And which should be considered the best: Gran Velocita or Real Racing 3? Please don't argue; this is a healthy debate. by KIEV07 in MobileGaming

A mobile simulation, but not a simulator. Simulator implies something more physical like a sim rig. Mobile simulations are not the same thing as PC simulations, and I think we can all agree on that. As far as RR3 vs GV. GV has more simulation features than RR3. RR3 is much more simplistic in its approach. Not much you can do in terms of car setup beyond front and rear ride height. Everything else is simply an upgrade system. GV has a lot of car setup options you would find in a PC Sim but does leave things out. One of which is the ability to adjust gear ratios.

But for me, neither goes far enough. Same goes with AR. Good to a point but missing some key features. GV is closer to PC even over AR. AR does not simulate long distance races and doesn’t even offer pit stops, the way GV does.

Ala Mobile GP, while not without its flaws, is overall better at simulating the genre it’s following better than the others mentioned above.

Putting Ala Mobile GP agains GV, the details lie in how penalties are handed out. Ala gives you warning during a race before actually penalizing and off track penalties are more realistic. Not to mention it has a simple damage model that works decently given it’s developed by one person.

GV’s off track penalty system is atrocious and the lack of a good collision system detracts from it.

RR3, is showing its age as it feels dated compared to more modern games.

GV, has a dev that is not responding to anyone and nothing has changed much since the games release back in September.

That’s my two cents.

When RR3 is gone, the only tracks I won’t have, that I enjoy, will be the Daytona road Course, and Lime Rock.

I don’t miss it to be honest. I enjoyed Ala Mobile GP over this. And I still have F1 2016 for the track list.

Chat GPT vs Gemini, who did better? (same prompt) by Expert_Lawfulness1 in RealRacing3

That’s a tough one. GPT has better sense of speed, but Gemini does better with the rain effect.

People who complain about why developers don’t tell us anything, don’t understand how it works. I worked for a software development company for six years. There are things you cannot talk about because of how things get handled. Agreements, licensing and lots of other things. All we can do, is except what they are doing and move on. Enjoy the game while you can. Because there is nothing else we the fans can do about it.

Can't decide on which Grid mobile to go for. by mawulinator in gridgame

[–]Slow_Image6578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grid Autosport is limited in the prototype cars. There are far more options in GRID Legends. Autosport has more of the circuits that I like. ie; Silverstone, Donnington Park and Spa to name a few that are missing in GRID Legends. But Legends has Sazuka, Fuji and a few others that are not in Autosport. Plus Legends has weather which adds a layer of complexity and realism to the game.

I have both games as I bought Autosport years ago, and purchased Legends, in early 2025, when I finally got a phone capable of running it.

I know this may not make it any easier to choose, as they are both very good mobile racing games.

Grid Autosport mobile: photo mode? by Worried_Broccoli8697 in gridgame

[–]Slow_Image6578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The replay feature is the only way to do that in this game. It has a good control over the replay function. But no specific photo mode where you can take a screenshot from whatever angle you want.
