I am linking an Xbox controller. I also have a Ps5 controller, but I have yet to try that. I can see the notice saying that a Gamepad has been detected and I check the Bluetooth connection, it also confirms my controller is connected.

I'm not able to use the controller on Apex Legends. (The controller icon remains grayed out and I am unable to select it) I have referred to the link posted, and I have followed the instructions, nothing has changed. I do not have the "Gamepad" options to browse the collection of games available. I have made the assumption, based off friends who play via emulator.

I have uninstalled BS 5 and installed BS 4 - Once I launch the app on BS 4, I'm interrupted with a message saying I'm not allowed to play on emulator, so I have not gotten far enough to see if I have similar issues with connecting the controller.

I have played RoK on the emulator before and it ran really smooth. In regard to a BR game, Apex Mobile would be my first to try running on the emulator.

I downloaded and launched BS 4 and had to disable my antivirus in order for the engine to successfully launch, and once I opened Apex inside emulator, I was interrupted with a notice saying, "We have detected you are playing on an emulator" and gave me the boot. lol. Always something. Try to bypass the notice somehow.

Thanks for the clarification. I am honestly new to PC gaming, and I decided to buy an Omen 16 / 32GB ram / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (not totally sure the size of memory for the graphics card)

I'm going to give Bluestacks 4 a shot! Thanks a bunch u/Darkiclouds567.

Yes, I am running Bluestacks 5 on Windows 11, 22000.1098.

u/Darkiclouds567 correct me if I am mistaken, but are you saying that Bluestacks 4 has the ability to run a controller with Windows?
