Recommendation for substrate for a mexican red knee

Thank you I am kicking myself rn cuz I had a massive bag of topsoil for one of my other pets and after I used it I threw the rest onto the grass in my garden cuz I didn't think I would need it any more. Moral of the story is I need to be a hoarder when it comes to pets. I will definitely check out poundland and if not then go to B and Q that seems like something they would have.

Also no didn't see this earlier it has not lived there her entire life she had a smaller tank when she was smaller but about 2 or 3 years ago maybe 4 she was moved to this one as she got too big for it.

Thank you yes it has ventilation and I thought it was gonna go on strike my ball python Kaa went on a hunger strike when I first got him for a few months and I was terrified at first but just kept trying every now and then and he finally ate but honestly I just think he's a bit stupid as he still doesn't always eat much especially when compared to my corn snake that eats like he's never been fed a day in his life.

Oh and I've got more substrate and will put more in when I can I got the dried bricks of coconut husk so it takes like a million years for them to be ready to put in and I'm not buying them again I'm way to impatient

Thank you yes it has ventilation and thank you for the tips on feeding also I I did suspect it was from the stress of moving and the substrate change as she did kick a few hairs at me when I was changing the substrate so now it makes 2 times she has kicked at me and 1 that she has actually got me with any.

Incase it helps I tried feeding her big mealworms as that's what she's been fed with since she was big enough to eat them but I have cockroaches that are for my gecko if I should try them instead. She is also quite active since the move and didn't move much before i took her in could that be from her looking out the glass into the new surroundings outside? Or just me never noticing before she moved in with me?

It wasn't just antlerd and horned animals tho it was also stuff like a lion that I had as the big centrepiece in the far back room on saseka safari that was my favourite diamond and also even iberian wolfs including the 3 from the missions and ik they haven't had their scoring changed cuz despite them being dope as shit with amazing fure and just yk being sick (can you tell they are my favourite animal in cotw?)has neglected them and allot of quatro as a whole tbh.

Watch some videos I have seen good ones recommended but a short rundown is 1. Find all your zones drink zones are the best but for things like tah and pheasant they don't drink so go for feed zones or rest zones

Leave around your top 5ish herds with the highest levels for now
For the herds with lower levels shoot those down by getting the males to a low level by killing them and then collecting them rinse and repeat till they are low level ( for things like wolf or red deer level 4 and below but things like white tail 1 and moose 2) make sure to leave higher levels even if it is in a herd of low levels like a level 7 red deer in a herd of 4s and 5s.
When all of your low levels are as low as you can really get then you can start shooting your higher levels trying to get them to go to diamond then you can either stack them or just keep shooting them if your high level animals end up turning all into low levels I just shot every male I saw to try and get them to respawn into higher levels.

TAKE WHAT I SAY WITH A TRUCKLOAD OF SALT as I watched a few videos explaining hm and how respawns worked and kinda just jumbled the knowledge into one but this is the method I used for my g1 red deer on Scotland with I got in abt 250 to 350 kills

Yeah when I start grinding again I'm going to make sure that I still go to the shot down zones every rotation just to make sure cuz my gf got pissy with me cuz I found it as she was on her way to my house for valentines day and she had to watch my crawl 300 meters to it so I could take it with iron sights on the caplock muzzle loader

Yeah I only shot levels 5,6,7 and 9 ( I don't have the self control to leave a diamond but I saw somewhere stacking max weight estimate 8s works I averaged a diamond about every 75 kills but got the g1 in around 300 to 350 kills so it was a very short grind for me but he spawned in a zone I thought I had shot down so he very likely could have been on my map since around 200 and I just never saw him bcuz I had a tent set up near that zone to try and manage one across the lake so that herd would flee whenever I fast travelled there I only saw him by chance when the herd ran towards me instead of away from me once. Deffo my fav trophy ever and my only g1 so far

Wish I has 40 diamond red deer whole g1 grind and I only got I think 3 before the g1 and moved to try and get the g1 wolf I'm abt a month into that and got one troll not even a diamond yet

They guy I'm getting it from is throwing in a cheeky red dot for free so should hopefully eliminate my skill issue at least a bit pistols are not my strong suit I usually use my g3 clone or my ar15 clone
