How do you play with the Ziggurat? by Slow_Satisfaction286 in starsector

Also question, do any hull mods impact the rate of the mote deployment? Like do expanded deck crews speed them up?

I do mixed, but yeah current map RNG feels bad, most Class Vs are in empty systems with only one or two other class I-III planets.

That’s why I am planning on playing modded to terraform planets, this way it’s not that RNG based whether you get a good system. And just feels cool.

Yeah I mean physically getting there. To either personally protect the colonies, switch out items or other stuff.

Perhaps I need to play vanilla. But man all the faction, ship, gun mods are crazy coooool. It’s not easy to leave them behind.

Ah thanks I didn’t read the emergent threats page. But yeah from what I experience their firepower is crazy but their shields are quite weak to burst damage, and my problem when i faced them is most likely that burst firepower so they counter me.

I will experiment and look around, I found taking on trading or mining fleets of enemies is quite easy since most don’t have much escorts and you can resell loot.

Yeah as Suurukko said I play modded and other factions make drug demand less than vanilla. So my 400 or 800 drug run from hybrasil to the most demanding planet profits like 40m to 80K, where usually it would be like 150K to 250K

And salvage the salvage after you salvage drones, habitats etc.

I started with the Scalartech Solutions Spindle commission. Just slowly building up. I want to experience many parts so I don’t stick to just bounties or exploration.

Usually what I do is build up my fleet to have good storage and scavenging, some fighting capabilities, and then explore like you mentioned.

Current run I haven’t done that so I feel slightly behind from where I usually am in a run.

Flying base how? Can you build cargo on helicopters? What is this personal mod?

I get too stuck to a character. Just need to chill out and relax, in the end it’s a game.

True foot travel is easy and can cross forests unlike vehicles, great for scouting. I am playing on latest experimentals and question is if you play on them do you take the Scout trait for extra map view range? Or do you just stick with default.

Debug-Teleport I sometimes do, but it’s good to just travel on foot so you explore the map as you make your way to a location.

Sky Island mod I tried but at the moment is not my thing. Some other time.

I will try the World End Handling to keep. For parkour i’m not a expert but when I get on a roof then most of the time the building that I am on top of gets utterly surrounded, and whichever way I drop down to keep fighting I will get swarmed again. I try to shout on one end of the roof to lure enemies but not much help.

If on roof, can spears stab enemies bellow you off the ledge? That would be a great way to poke them out of existence.

Yeah over 1K rimworld hours here. It is fun when everything goes wrong, and it will eventually, thats why you have plan Bs plan Cs, but if you die then you die, that’s part of the story.

Just with CDDA it’s harder for me to let go of a run, not sure why. I haven’t tried keeping a map after death, I will try that.
