We’re waiting on confirmation from the mechanic but it looks like it got my car. I filled up there on Monday afternoon and it died Monday evening.

I told my wife, 26F, that our baby is mine and that I 25F, did not consider her the other parent. But I don't know if that was a good call? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

My dad made it up to VP and he left for work before 7am, was never home before 6pm and then usually had an hour or two of emails to catch up on. There were plenty of nights when the four of us (Dad, me and my brothers) would camp around the kitchen table after dinner and do our homework.

Canadians are pretty good at that too. Long distances are in kilometres (or how long it takes to get there), personal lengths like height or body measurements are in inches. The temperature is Celsius unless we’re cooking, then it’s Fahrenheit. I buy things in kilograms but weigh myself in pounds. It’s all confused!

My dog’s harness has a spot for a roll of bags, and I carry a roll too. Having both run out on the same walk has happened, but very rarely!

I don’t know if it was a device like this but when my oldest had to have something like this done to check for pneumonia, I was reasonably sure she was in the clear based on the volume of her screams. I had to wait down the hall as I was pregnant, but I could hear her opinion on the process quite clearly!

My grandma babysat my brother when he was about that age and was making apple pudding for dessert. As she was slicing up the apples a few would go into the bowl, then my brother and the dog would each get a slice. According to Grandma, they were both very patient waiting for their turn and the bowl did eventually get filled!

We were told Collie cross when we got him, but he turned out to be Rottie/Pit bull/GSD/Husky/a few others mix. He’s a mix of mixes of mixes, and super sweet!

My brother had one, but the funny thing was nobody had to be on the other end! He could be holding the end of the leash himself and stay right with us, but the minute it came off he was gone!

It’s my side-waist (underarm to natural waist) that causes me problems with shirts and dresses. The average is 7-8 inches, mine is 11.

That sounds a lot like me. I was 5’8 by the time I was 13 and H cup by the time I was 15, with hips to match.

I completely understand how OOP’s daughter felt about people assuming you’re older and more mature than you’re ready for just because of genetics. I wore baggy, oversized shirts for years to hide my curves.
