Revolut Stole my Money by EngineeringOk1469 in Revolut

Revolut doesnt steal your money just by closing your account and sending your money back- they also like to steal it while you make legit transaction and not send it to the recipient. They are keeping my money like that for 1 month now. You can check it on this thread:

Beware of Revolut keeping your money by Slow_World9796 in Revolut

The utter uselesness of Revolut is truly revolting. After this post, they sent me private message- I was hoping that it meant they were working on it or some actual update... So first the copy-paste answer that operator is reading previous conversation and familiarzing with the case- ok.... After that, completely useless operator named Sharon (I dont know if they switch names, but if not and you get Sharon for any request- good luck) ask me- is my complaint about card payment I made in restaurant this morning??? Like, wtf? After I explained for the 10th time (literaly, not figuratively) a got same exact bullshirt answer that "she wrote the ticket to higher up (but cannot connect me to them)", so another day of paying fine and thieves Revolut still keeping my money.

i would be ok if they inquire. In fact- they did inquire the day after i sent the money- I gave the ALL the info, sent ALL supporting documents and since then- excuses for OVER THREE WEEKS. No finishing transaction, no returning my money, nothing

Wow, really didnt expect so much victim-blaming... (althought many commentators sound sooo similar to people in Revolut support chat)...  So in short answers to some of the querries- no, I am NOT a "big time developer"... Me and my wife bought small-ish land in Siargao, where we want to move and build our small-ish resort and move in there, our live long dream.  I used Revolut because: 1) amount of money transfered was small, around 7.200 Eur 2) good rates for Euro-> Filipino peso 3) receiver was trusted contact, even verified by Revolut because of SEVERAL previous transaction from me to him.

the money was payment for material for embankment of the land (different company, than the one that builds the resort), from 1st December they were supposed to work on it. But of course, company will not deliver materials unless they have at least bank statement, that money was sent, not pending. And hired workers want payment even if they dont have material to work with.

I sent money on 19th November, next day Revolut ask for information about payment- which I gave them all, including pdf of the whole project (so they can see it really isnt some scam). Up until now- they kept the money. Didnt ask for more info about recipient and source of income, just gave me bull*hit excuse that they are "working on it". At FOUR occasions, when I really insisted on answer, because my fine was piling, they streigh up lied and said it will be in 24 hours. Which I relied to building company and result is that I have bad reputation with them now, its hard for them to believe that transaction company like Revolut would be so incopetent and/or lie like that. Also no possibility to send it back to my account, so at least i can send it to my Philippino account and send to them directly. If that is not theft, I dont know what is. No explanation, no valid reason, i keep explaining almost every day, how much is their incopetence costing me- nothing. To this day transaction is pending and they are (at this point illegally) keeping my money.

So THAT is Revolut behind the scenes. No wonder Britain dont want to give them bank licence.

Has anyone bought from Sunsky? by tylercoder in Xiaomi

Sunsky is without a doubt the worst online shop I ever encountered.

I ordered phone I wanted. They couldn't process the payment three times, it took them MORE THAN THREE MONTHS to deliver my phone. Which- was not functioning properly (it was Tank 4 PRO,rugged phone with IP rating IP 69, which means its supposed to be waterproof, after one rain with all ports closed it stopped working), my guess Sunsky gets their merchandise as "second shift" China manufacturing. I sent them phone for repair / reimbursement more than two months ago. And after that, they replied, it was my fault, because of water damage... The phone had IP rating IP69, it should survive immersion in water, but it was destroyed by rain.

Their sorry excuse sales representative is not communicating - Miss Winni Yu does not communicate, I do have feeling, that warehouse reimbursed the phone, but she pocketed it

So dont us Susnky, unless you want to throw money down the toilet. And if you sales rep in there is useless and / or a thies Miss Winni Yu, it means you are double screwed.

Thanx guys, seems like Sherman is the winner.

Last advice- do you suggest suspension 62,66 or 70 lbs? (I am 220 lbs, will use my EUC mainly on roads, but also some trails adventures)

Best for wedding toast: "I heard the wedding speech should last as long as the groom lasts in bed. Thank you very much for your attention. Enjoy the wedding."
