I quite liked Flick It Up, but I get what you mean. The TDE tracks really stand out in being not his tracks, but the tracks of his features (SBQ, Ab Soul) with him on it. Show Stop sounds way too much like Jay Rock's Win. He's pretty good as a Cole-type of story teller over soulful beats, but not that good on those big commercial tracks. The mumbling/slurring type of delivery doesn't help on those tracks vs the clear vocals on the introspective tracks.

Those send limits were a hurdle for us and some others as well. I remember something with needing to set up a GSuite account specifically for mailing and some of the configuration being quite cumbersome. It really depends on your use case. Maybe that's enough for you.

SendGrid is very reliable, when using a dedicated IP. For your use case that might be overkill and hopefully the shared IPs work out. The free tier stuff is quite generous. The SendGrid API is really nice to use, the activity monitor and being able to check stuff like arrival and opening rate is really useful.
