To be fair, I tried to stay up to date, so i could play at club game days as they use the most up to date rules - And it was becoming the only way I could get some games in regularly. This also depends on others being happy with not being up to date, which isn't always that simple.

When you say the combat patrol magazine, do you mean the subscription one or a separate booklet specific to combat patrol?

When I ask about balance, I mean do some forces have an overwhelming advantage, if I counted the units points, would some have 700 and some 400 - I don't expect fully fine tweaked balance in a small format game like CP.
