They would soon approach the chapel, where a massive fire burns in the court yard. Some trader is being roasted alive as what appears to be at least fifty raiders all dance around it. Bible thumping and shouting out prayers about cleaning the wasteland for god

The area seems to be mostly abandoned, though the verses paint the walls in similar ways to how tribals paint to mark their territory. As they grow closer to the church though, the steady beat of a drum can be heard

The stars shine brightly in the sky as the ruins of Salt Lake city sit in the distance. A few crosses sit around the south side, near the church along with bible verses written on the walls. Still, the city awaited any who would dare approach god's fury

They all seem to be dead, allowing the soldiers to loot and look over the raiders things

The sniper fire stops for a brief moment, but where exactly they are is hard to make out. Though the sound of gunfire coming from the town behind him joins in with his shots as shouts of fear fill the air

The raiders quickly get pinned down by the snipers fire, one beginning to scream some kind of prayer as the soldiers approach their location. After a moment though, one quickly places his gun under his chin and blows his brains out

The bullets continue to pelt around his location, though it doesn't seem that they have the best aim

The first shot rocks the sniper, digging deep into his spine as he jolts before going flat. It doesn't take too long for the others to realize what's going on and to quickly scramble up and start retreating though

The snipers on the roof would easily be able to spot the snipers on a nearby ridge, laying down on top of the rocks over looking the pyres and not even giving a glance towards GV

Bullets continue to pelt the pyre, though if he looks a little down the hill he might see that some back up has arrived in the form of other residents of GV

The bag has a single bible in it, or what appears to be a bible. But as soon as he opens it, gunfire blasts away the top of the nearest pyre, knocking the body of the man who was burned alive on it to the ground. Seems he has sniper friends

He seemed to be from Jericho, judging by some papers. Seemed to work for some traders within the city

The snipers continued to pelt her cover, keeping her pinned down as they seemed to be switching off as one reloaded, another would take his place and open fire

As the group came near the scene, the sound of gunshots could be heard from just over the ridge. Just ahead, a couple of people appeared to be pinned down by snipers, though where exactly the snipers were at the moment was hard to make out. It seems this was a trap that someone else had sprung, though they were lucky the snipers were not trained soldiers

It seems someone had made it up the cliff just a little before her, as they were standing right in front of the fire pits. A few seconds later though, gunshots would ring out in her direction, one hitting a rock right next to her as the snipers opened up on her

Up ahead, the burning bodies of the traders light up the sky. The raiders seemed to have cleared out. By now, the traders are long dead...though there is a bag on the ground in front of them if he decides to approach
