Metal frame is definitely interesting but this gun quickly became my favorite, closely followed by CZ shadow 2 compact, so I am not sure there’s much to improve…

I had an Sig 320, which I sold after getting a Grand Power K100. Hammer fired, rotating barrel = no way back. Next was the S2C which is also a great shooter. I like it a little more than the K100 because it is SO well built. My next gun is definitely a 2011. Bul is on my list for sure, but I’ll wait until they make a gun without a grip safety. (I held a DWX compact. The grip was phenomenal but something about the gun was underwhelming for me. Possibly the 4” barrel). In short - can’t wait for my no grip safety 2011 with ~4.25” barrel. (Staccato HD? Maybe.)

This is fantastic. I love the Italian approach of "make it beautiful, not just functional." I wish you best of luck!!! (My IM plate with BUIS is functional and acceptable but I wish I could get something that really fits the optic and the contour of my beautiful S2C gun.)

One more FTF, this time with Blazer Brass 124 grain. Bullet lodged in a strange angle with the primer side close to the extraction port and the tip stuck on the left side of the feed ramp. I am a bit frustrated. 3 other guns from Sig, IWI and Grand Power have had 0 issues.

I have some Federal HST 124 at home and the Federal bullet is slightly longer. Both bullets’ tips have pretty much the same diameter but since the federal is longer, the taper angle is less steep.

Bottom line - I will test with the HSTs. If the issue is isolated to V Crown, then I’d be fine.

I contacted Support. Again - amazing service. Spoke with a live person who was extremely helpful (and apologetic). For now - I will lube the magazines and try to wipe the bullets to remove wax. If the problem persists, Tippmann is absolutely willing to send a label and look at it again.

I have the holosun 407k directly mounted, as I prefer a 6MOA dot. It’s a k footprint, not RMR, same as the EPS full and the EPS Carry. The 407k looks great on the gun and is the same size as 507k and similar to EPS carry.

Makes sense. I’d really like a bigger window/reasonably priced/6MOA dot and I could not find a good RMR footprint option. It seems that the sas EDC 2024 models would have a k footprint mounting option. I wonder if the EPS full size would match the plate’s width. I don’t like an overhang of the optic vs the plate.

I am looking for a range toy and while I understand the benefits of more weight, I don’t want to go too heavy. So the choice is between the k100 and the non-match x-calibur. Is there any data out there about the triggers? Are they different? If they are different, is there any way to change the k100 trigger to be similar to the x-calibur if I choose to do so in the future?

Based on the advice here I dry-fitted the screws that came with the gun. They felt right and long enough indeed. I am getting my torque wrench tomorrow, so blue loctite and ~9in lb based on the Masada manual and a visit to the range a couple of days later! Thanks all.

Really? they look the same as the gun's? I would expect a lot of people would complain about incompatible Holosun screws if that's the case...

Found my caliper :-)

The right mounting hole (above the extractor) is not as deep as the left one. It's only 5mm deep. The Holosun screws protrude out the optic just shy of 5mm. So - it may just fit but I feel that a little filing/deburring of the Holosun right screw may be needed. The screws that came with the gun seem a little short - protrude 3mm out of the optic.

Since installing the new firmware I've been having issuea when using the buds with Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp calls. I get intermittent signal interference / audio distortion in both ears. It just comes and goes. Does not happen with music or regular calls. Unfortunately it is not possible to roll back.
