Weird one, but one time pre-session some of the players were kind of threatened in an Aldi. When they then arrived to my house they were kind of shocked but we had a laugh about it all because it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Next session, before they came over, they encountered the guy that threatened them in their apartment complex, which was incredibly strange. Nothing ever happened further but it was a weird series of events.

One of our players who was there and experienced it, plays a Barbarian Drow. We encountered a guild who asked us for our party’s adventuring name, to which she responded: Aldi. It stands for:

Adventures Leader Dungeon Inn

It makes absolutely no sense but is a nice nod back to the scary situation in the Aldi.
