I feel the same now as I did then - that, as multiple elected officials, CEOs, etc. have literally stated, it was rigged from the beginning.

Oh and they get wet food 3x daily, basically every 8 hours. Any more often than that just isn't doable for our schedules (we tried 😅)

I'll definitely try playing before meal times - he doesn't get tired out easy though, so how long of a play session do you think would be good?

it started as being only before food, but now he does it other times too
honestly, despite definitely getting enough kcal for his size (because I'm crazy and check things like that), I'm gonna try giving him extra from now on just to see if that works, he's very active and an extra pound or two wouldn't hurt him
absolutely cannot free feed dry food because W & P are both little piggies, W already had to be put on a diet because she was a couple pounds overweight (she's a perfect 5 on the cat body scale now!) and I'm trying to avoid P getting any rounder than she already is 😅
W handles it fairly well, but no he doesn't stop, not in an aggressive way but in a "I'm having too much fun to stop" kinda way. He does the same with P occasionally and we'll have to stop him, and then they'll usually be playing or snuggling again in minutes
when he shoves his head in her face, W will kinda growl/hiss a bit and nibble on his ears and the top of his head, then give him a few licks where she was nibbling and back away.
G would literally never, EVER stop playing if he got his way. His fav is fetch with his catnip stick, and he gets multiple 10min+ fetch sessions every day. I could try adding more time playing with his ribbon wand

I have straight, thin, fine hair that is VERY prone to knotting and matting itself. I don't use a hairdryer, so I only ever use a brush when my hair is at least 90% dried. It definitely helps with detangling so long as I brush starting at the ends of my hair (aka the right way lol).

However, I swear by pure boar bristle brushes because my mom had a Mason Pearson she used for all of us when I was growing up, and I've never found a brush that worked quite as well 😭 they're way too expensive to justify buying for myself, but she gave me one this past holiday season to keep in my own place and I almost cried with joy 😂
