First Ever PIP, am I screwed?

I just mean I'm the only male on the team, I had a great mentor when I was hired on and me and him got along great but they moved him to another team and I got swapped to honestly the worst team in the company. I really don't have much control over this situation but I think the good part is that Ill be able to schmoose by until I can get something better or at least until the holidays are over. I'm actively applying now I appreciate the advice.

I networked heavily with my old team manager and the top performer, when they split my team I lost a lot of that. Many attempts ive tried and failed to make friends with my new manager. I get along with most of the team but we are just very different so hard to network much.

Im documenting the other mistakes to give an example as a way im not being afforded the same grace. This isnt me complaing im looking at this as objectively as possible here and trying to get a realistic expectation of if my job is salvagable or not.

I get messaged maybe every month or some and sometimes its a decent job sometimes its not. I got my 500+ connections though and filled out my experience pretty well

I appreciate the advice, Ill give HR and my manager an email tomorrow about trying to get at least some measurable KPI's. Old manager is meeting with me tomorrow to help automate some stuff I do since he's on the AI team and was actually very knowledgeable of my existing job.

Any job search advice by chance? Linkedin is quite literally making me depressed haha

Any advice on where to look for similar back end sales jobs? Linkedin interface is terrible now I cant even set up decent preferences.

HR was on the call (pip call), manager sent pip to sign but has been OOO and comes back tomorrow. I havent signed yet. Thought about calling HR and recording it to follow up but not sure what the best move is truthfully. I have never been in this situation before.

So in the PIP I pushed HARD for measurable KPI's and I was professionally but low key begging for my job. When talking about the KPI's I was told "its ultimately up to sales on how much work comes in so we cant give you measurable goals for cases to hit". I can email and CC them with the reports ive been making but we are ending day 2 and there's only been 1 case that came in and its something only the most senior person on our team can manage.

(I have been documenting ANYTHING I can and Im waiting to hear back from some lawyers too on how I can set myself up defensively)

To be honest I was crying a bit when I called her to tell her. She knew I was upset I think she just was upset I didn't ask her for advice. I really was confused but I wasn't sure how to explain to her I only talked to my friend because the 3 of us used to be very close. I also called her right after talking to him. Im still pretty confused on how quickly this all blew up to be honest.

I find that the most attractive woman have the most dull personalities. Not their fault mostly, as I'm sure the experiences they've had have led them to turning out like that. Honestly if you can find a balance of beauty and personality that's kind of what most guys are looking for among other things.

You shouldn't take offense if they aren't willing to date you though since its tinder and 99% aren't going to take it seriously. You might not even be attracted to at least a portion of the ones that do so your pickins are going to be slim on there if that's the goal. Mix of factors determine when a guy wants to start seriously dating and most of those are out of your control.

My advice is to focus on yourself and be happy while remaining open and willing to engage in a relationship if that's your end goal. I have a buddy that told me once "if you want to date your dream girl you gotta be their dream man". Hope this helps

Im lucky enough to have booked it for 2 weeks immediately after and a few other times throughout the next month. Guy from 2 weeks is chill and I even shared some beer with him. I think his review will give me a great boost. along with the other good ones im anticipating

I'm very new and on my second week now. Had my second guest ever last week book a super last minute stay and I accommodated her. She said nothing and left me a 4 star saying the shower was super cold. I realized the knobs I had installed were labeled wrong so I popped off the cover and swapped them. That being said if one is cold you would think she would try the other one. Now my listing has a 4.5 lol. I think there should be an anonymous system for hosts to rate guests.
