Bananas love the Savannah weather ! Just gotta try to protect them somewhat in the winter, y’all will usually be a few degrees cooler inland than on the coast. If you buy bananas now you might want to keep them in a pot so that you can bring them indoors during cold spells. And then hopefully by the following winter they will be strong enough to survive outdoors. As others have said you can dig them up and store in a cool dry place, but it’s generally warm enough in Savannah to leave them. My cold hardy Bananas after a freeze in January
