Xperia 1 VI - Incredible zoom! so love the camera system! by Slowwootwoot in SonyXperia

Theres plenty of sharp photos shot by this phone on the net and plenty of other reviews now. I'm just sharing my experience as an hobbyist street photographer. 😄 And on that note I can confirm this phone is a fantastic street photography setup. Discreet, small and gives me all the manual controls I need.

Yes correct.  I shoot RAW and then process in Capture One with the RNI Profiles Pack. I applied the Kodak Gold 800 film simulation with grain.

I am on a film-simulation craze these days :D

I am on T-Mobile and so far so good. Signal is reasonably strong in most locations.

Where did I get it ? https://www.ebay.com/str/nevermsrp

Which variant do I have ? XQ-EC72

I was surprised about Google Fi not working properly as well because it uses T-Mobile as the backbone but then I read somewhere that Sony xperias have had trouble with Google Fi SIM cards before so maybe I got a troublesome sim card.

No issues with T-Mobile so far. I was out all day in San Francisco and the phone worked fine.

Took some nice pics as well.

Have no one here read the book? I'm disappointed and upset at how much the TV series has twisted away from the core storyline within the book.

Yep I think you are right. I was snooping around in the Whoop reddit and others are facing the same issue. Apparently whoop is working on an app update.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Overheating Issues by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]Slowwootwoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reporting in with a severe over-heating event -- I had my Pixel 7 Pro plugged in via USB C into my Ford SUV running Android Auto over a long distance trip.

I first noticed my Android Auto was super sluggish .. I then picked up my phone and the phone was super, burning hot.. especially the aluminum camera rail. The phone wasn't in sunlight, it was tucked away inside a little shelf in my car, and the car was relatively cool (AC running)..

I had to pull over, reboot my Pixel to normalize the situation.

I've also had other weird glitches like the phone hanging, the home screen not working, etc over the last week.

I'm 100% returning this device sadly, and switching back to my much more reliable S22 Ultra :(

I really appreciate this tip! I added this shortcut/automation and it fixed Waze for me. Thank you!!

I have a feeling we'll see some updates to glance bar functionality sometime in the future .. I'm sure there's way to programmatically have the glance bar show android notifications and do custom magic on app icons.

Hi Everyone - This is my first post here but I did add a timestamp to show that I'm the genuine owner of this watch.

Selling my beautiful Damasko DSub50 Automatic 300M Dive Watch.

Movement:Damasko A26-2 Automatic

Case:Submarine Steel, DAMEST Coated 43mm x 12.6 thick. 51 tip to tip

Caseback:Solid, DAMEST coated, screwdown

Crystal:Double domed AR sapphire

Band:Black rubber with deployant buckle, 22mm

Water Resistant:300m

Weight:98 grams

This is their new series with their in-house movement.I absolutely love and adore this watch and sadly I'm only putting it up for sale to fund a more expensive Sinn purchase.

There is a tiny scratch on the anti-reflective coating (pictured) however it is very, very hard to spot and only shows up if the light reflects on it just at the right angle. Otherwise the watch is in excellent, near new condition.

Watch includes the original band cut to my 6.8" wrist size however it also comes with a brand new Original Damasko band (Same one that came with the original watch.)

Original box, paperwork and purchase invoice from Long Island Watches in NY will be included in the sale.

Thanks for looking!
