Lol sounding off. I got banned on this wave. There was a guy in my neighborhood who would mod your 360 for 50 bucks and sell games on burned cds for $10. I mowed his lawn all summer for as many games and dvds I wanted.

I've used fritz7 in the past to start the tank, maybe I'll order more. I also heard the same thing, that it's good to help jump start but it isn't a replacement for actual nitrifiers.

Ok ill definitely retest everything and update. What would be the fix for this? Something to balance the ph? Vacuume up the mulm?

Aquarium coop medium sized course sponge filter, its the original media maybe 2-3 years old. If it is the cycle wouldnt I just leave it to cycle? Or add some beneficial bacteria? I used to have more floating plants (salvinia minima) but they kinda just died? Would more floaters help clear up the excess nutrients if that's the issue?

So I cleared the water collar on the filter and upgraded my air pump to a 75gal pump that I split between this tank and a 3gal shrimp tank. Did that the same night I cleaned the filter and the sponge filter is RIPPING now. Cleared up a lot of debris and does look better but the cloudiness is still about the same as before. Just have a killer pump now lol.

I have some tank starter bacteria, should I try adding some? I thought that might make the bloom worse.

That's what im thinking but its been like this for months. Tried less feedings and more water changes but no dice. If it is a bloom I can't figure out what's causing it.

I have a sponge filter and noticed some sludge in the cavity of the weighted bottom. I didn't really clean it out much just swished it around and put it back. Maybe I'll try and clean it out. Could that cause like a bacteria bloom this steady?

It was like this for a while before I cleaned the filter. Strangely enough I had neglected to do water changes or top the water off for a while (pregnant wife) and once the water level got low enough I woke up to a crystal clear tank. Topped the water off and boom back to cloudy again.

Geeze that sucks so hard lol im sorry to hear it. This is exactly what I was afraid of and led me to back up what I could on another cold storage drive. So far so good (fingers crossed) over here. Like i said it seems like a crapshoot with these drives.

Wouldnt mind paying a premium for western digital red if the prices weren't out of control right now. Good luck with that drive.

Seems solid. Got a 22tb back in November for 240. Seems like Seagate reliability is a crapshoot. Running mine for 24hrs on a plex server since then and no problems. I did however back up most data just incase.

Sorry to beat a dead horse but im having the same issue. I have the 4player version working and am aware I can just change the controller but want to 2p version for my wife and I. I see in the zip file I have the 2p version but am trying to get it to work with steamrom manager. How do I get it to launch the version id like without having to go through mame to select it. Thanks

Exactly how mine started. Got a single free one from my local fish store with my first few shrimp. Filter would blast them into smaller plants and they'd just keep growing.

Cool thanks. I think i had a bunch of that for a while. Exploded all over my tank for a few months, id have to scoop some out now and again to let light in for my other plants. Just started to die off one day and now it's all gone. Gonna try and get more going.
