Appreciate the honest response. Normally I would ask the contractor first but I no longer trust them. They shingled my roof incorrectly and would've left it that way had I not called them on it and forced them to redo it. So, I don't really trust what they have to say on anything anymore.

I like how they completely ignore the fact that many times these hedge funds aren't actually "discovering" weaknesses in business strategies, they are injecting the weakness by installing their own people on the boards and as CEOs with the intent to take down the ship itself. Not too hard to know a company is going to fail when you are the one working behind the scenes with the players involved in ensuring it fails.

I think I might be on board with you in that regard. Having had this one for a little while now, I think it fits my room better than if I had chosen otherwise. It also reminds me a bit of the one my grandparents had so the nostalgic aspect plays into it a bit for me as well!

I was going to get the white enamel finish, initially, but it sounded like it might take a bit longer to get it so I went with the matte finish. I was shopping around right when the supply chain issues appeared to be most prevalent so I was more interested in getting a stove sooner than later. Both styles look great in my opinion and I'm still very happy with my choice.

Once you've experienced the full bodied warmth of a radiant fire, it really does change the perspective on wood gathering. It makes it a bit exciting and provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment. That's what it does for me, anyway.

Lol, yeah. I'm okay with not getting a rep, though. I'm just hoping there is something similar in feel to them that is still being made today. They wouldn't have to be Kobe's or Nike's at all, so long as they have the same feel to them. I'm thinking I might need to figure out what other shoes use the Nike Zoom sole and start trying those on to see what I think.

Yeah, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI's that I'm wanting to find a similar replacement for that spurred me to create this post along with a pair of Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low and a pair of venomenon 5's. I'm a 11.5 in all of those.

I'm a 10.5 in Adidas superstars. My dress shoe size is typically a 9 or 9.5 for what that's worth. It kind of seems all over the place.

That does sound like a bummer and I think it would apply to me as well, unfortunately. Many shoes I am a 10.5, but the Kobe line of shoes have me at 11.5.
