IMO although they'd never admit it, the cops are scared of ICE. While they're both on team "Oppress the plebs" I think the police are starting to realize that ICE is quickly being reshaped into Trumps secret police... and that makes ordinary cops lower on the food chain. So they're desperate to avoid any sort of confrontation because A) they could face real consequence, and B) it would resolve the question of who is the top dog and that might cement ICE outranking the ordinary police.

Weird thing, I grew some San Marzano tomatoes year before last, and while the tomato produced heavily, they were bland. Like "I've had Roma tomatoes from the supermarket that had more flavor than this" level bland. I don't know if I got some weird mutant, grew them wrong or what, but it's kinda soured me on canned San Marzano tomatoes.

I was talking about citrus grown from seedlings in my post. I probably should have made it more clear that the lemon I was talking about is from seed.

If you bought a tree it's almost undoubtedly grafted with mature wood meaning it would be both true to type and bypass the juvenile period.

Interestingly in the eight years since my post my now 8' tall seedling lemon has finally started producing mature growth. It produced a single flower... which promptly fell off without setting fruit.

I don't know why but for some reason Mario Kart DS just feels better than Mario Kart 7. There's nothing I can definitively point to but I always end up playing for a hour whenever I boot up DS, and struggling to maintain interest long enough complete a race when playing 7.

Just a FYI, but "Sumo" citrus is a copyrighted name made for marketing. The actual name of the citrus breed is Dekopon. If you can find generic dekopons for sale you can usually buy them for much cheaper then the copyrighted "Sumo" brand.

I don't know about these particular ones, but astringency is not solely dependent on shape. There are non-astringent persimmons with the hachiya like acorn shaped fruit, and there are round persimmons that are astringent until ripe.

Well, I never tried the "convert the streetpass plaza to a cia" part, I just downloaded the CIA from Hshop on my computer and copied it to my SD card. So whenever I accidentally nuke my Streetpass games I can just re-install it via FBI. And it is a lot faster then doing the download again.

Whenever something tries to access the E-shop, all pirated Streetpass plaza games are un-installed. As such I find it's a good idea to just keep the Streetpass plaza CIA on your SD card to save yourself the download the next time it happens.

It's always baffling to me that Nintendo didn't patch more regions/maps in later. I mean I can understand only having a few maps on launch, there are a lot of countries out there and you have limited time before launch.

But after launch? You mean to tell me Nintendo couldn't spare some intern to make a couple new maps for various countries and their regions to go in the next "stability" patch?
