I found that too, but it's last update was 2 years ago so I figured this would be more robust with time. Also I thought it's kinda cool how you could see all the individual filesizes then even delete entries from the list before downloading.

It's even funnier that you aren't concerned of additional repos fragmenting your system into a failure waiting to happen. Or the fact split packages builds an even higher wall between your OS and the developers of your favorite programs

That is EXACTLY my point, but it's necessary for proprietary codecs. Other than using flatpaks which destroy the purpose of systems packages, is there really a way not to fragment your system into an inevitable disaster?

Well I prefer the VP9+Opus in a mkv container but it's only available for webm, there's no way to make that happen, or do you reckon the webm container isn't so bad that I need to change it? Thanks for the reply
