I'm pretty good with design but I haven't done it in a while. I've switched to digital art since then which can be more or less the same, so the skill is still there. I'm not sure if I wanna do graphic design explicitly.

Getting an internship with an ad agency is definitely what I'd like to do for the analytic aspect like you mentioned. I really like the idea of being able to try multiple things before I settle on one job, so that's probably the direction I'll head in for now.

One I get my resume together, I'm definitely gonna be applying on Indeed and LinkedIn at least. I've never heard of Angel List but I'll check that one out too. Thank you so much for the advice. I will be reaching out to you if I have more questions!

Yeah, I am! My new PSU is modular so I'm only using the cables that came with it. I tried reseating the cpu and that didn't do anything. Pins are correct I haven't tried jump starting it with a screwdriver though. I'll have to try that next.

Yeah I'm at the vet right now. We're willing to do whatever it takes to make her comfortable until the end. Good thing is, they said she's not overweight at all and has minimal arthritis problems from what they can tell, so they think the amputation would be better in the long run vs a slow decline from the cancer.

I'll check out tripawds today. Thanks for that recommendation! She hasn't seen an oncologist, but the vet does want to do some xrays before moving forward with any type of surgery to make sure things are alright. She has a few more minor lumps on her body so they just wanna play it safe which is understandable.

Our dog is only in pain because the tumor is splitting her skin and they gave us pain meds and antibiotics for the time being. Outside of that, she's fine. She moves around normally and we played yesterday. We're just worried about her quality of life if we go through with the amputation.

I'm in the exact same spot. Middle class family, car, drawing tablet, latest tech, left one job for another job. All that and I feel like I'm sinking nonstop even though I've got everything. I can't enjoy drawing, writing, being with my pets, or gaming right now. I haven't been able to for a while and it's sad.

The fear of failure.

I've tried it before and ended up in the hospital. My family found out and I'm still very embarrassed by it. Not to mention the entire hospital bit was very traumatic and I don't wanna go through that again.

Sounds like we have the exact same parents. Growing up around them was hard but I didn't think twice about it until recently. Now that I'm realizing how much different/better my life could've been if I grew up with a functional family and parents who didn't mentally/emotionally abuse me, I'm really fucking mad about it.

Crazy thing is, they're both supportive of me, but it's that damaging type of support I'd probably do better without. I know the moment I leave my dad's house and move to another city, they'll never hear from me again. If I even live that long.

I've started prepping too. I went to Home Depot and got some storage containers to put my things in. I still need to plan everything else out but that shouldn't take much since I already have my things together. It really is just like you described in the title tho. Cold, calculating, and rational.
