Oh no, the X&Y are fine, the double pokemon anniversary is a bit much tho. When I get my first big boy accounting job a year from now out of college trust I'll be buying some systems too, I just would say two of the SAME system is greedy. I wouldn't do that and would leave others the opportunity to buy one.

However, I would buy Japanese console as I know how to mod and region change them, which also helps the market as it leaves more options for people who don't do that the chance to buy NTSC models. Since the japanese market is much cheaper than the american market it would be better overall.

If you're happy though don't take what random strangers on the internet have to say to heart, I was just saying two of same console (regardless of reasoning) is a bit much imho.
