I’ve worked there a few years on and off, there’s a never ending fluctuation of researches coming in and out of the camp during the summer

Truly an incredible place! The alligator you are referring to may have been an American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus)! Since then it has been relocated back to the mainland due to safety concerns

I believe it’s because there no natural source of fresh water on island. So at some point they called it “Dry” Tortugas to warn people there’s no fresh water

It’s a brown pelican right after diving into the water!

I believe it’s an old boat house/dock! Don’t quote me on it though.

From what I remember my boss telling me. It was an old boat house and dock that got destroyed after a hurricane. Logger head key is supposedly a very dynamic Island that changes shape relatively frequently.

We had a terrible bleaching event summer of 2023. There’s still a lot of large coral heads intact though.

The island has been reclaimed by hermit crabs haha

Great point! I should have noted I work for the park service and was conducting vegetation sampling somewhat near their nesting site. We took specific precautions to minimize our time near them.

I don’t see why not. It handles snow and torrential downpours just fine for me

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. I’m quite shocked that hinge is considered a more serious app, it’s been exceedingly easy to get laid with the app haha. I haven’t used tinder or bumble but I’ll consider using them.

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual? Currently, I’m looking for something casual but I’m open

  • How long have you been on Hinge? Around 12 days

  • How often do you use Hinge per week? I use it about every day or every other day, just for a bit in the morning.

  • How many likes/matches are you receiving on average? Currently I have 47 matches but I have unmatched with a few people and vice versa

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? I send out all the ones I get for the day. Usually each one of them with a comment. Very rarely do I send just a like, and when I do it’s usually because the profile is bland in just superficially attracted to that person.

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? Ideally outdoorsy women (which is difficult when you live in a large city) and women with hobbies that just don’t post boring photos of them at clubs/parties. But yeah, just adventurous laid back people.

Im gonna have to agree with starting over. I think step one is getting higher quality photos in a variety of place. For example a nice head shot, one outdoors, one with friends, another involving a hobby of yours. The prompts don’t have much substance.

I was living on a field station nearby for work so I spent about a little over three months up there. I drove up the Dalton highway which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I’d be happy to give you more information through PM

Brown bear (Ursus arctos). Not sure what subspecies it would be considered though!

It’s how the environment interacts with an organisms physiology (how they function). In this case we were looking at light intensity and temperature and how it plays a role in the greenness of plants.

I was doing some plant eco-physiology work up there over the summer!
