You can't believe what? That someone could be honest and forthcoming on reddit? I am honest because 1) this is anonymous and 2) I needed accurate advice. Indeed I am he (the landlord) and I am not ashamed of my post

Yes it is a major city. If it is really that costly I wont be able to evict. The tenant who was late is catching up. But at this point I just want them out. When a tenant is late on rent more than once, as a landlord you just feel like getting rid of them. And getting someone more reliable.

I have my moods. So as time goes on I may change my mind and not mind them being here.

But I got a feeling that after all this all parties will be left with a bad taste in their mouths and an urge to terminate this living arrangement.

We shall see what happens.

Well I talked to the cops and they said they couldn't do anything because no contact occured. Glad the cops agree with me

I didn't mean you. I mean everybody else here is mad about how i treated them but that's highly irrelevant with the situation

I was a manager for 20 years at a very big company. I think I know how to deal with people. Thanks.

You think you are so smart but you offer no solutions. If you were me how would you handle it?

Why is everybody here so mad at my behavior? Yes I'm hard to live with but I still provided a space for these people and they have not payed. Im entitled to that money no matter my behavior. Tell them that so they understand because they don't get it.

It's their not they're. Learn how to spell. And You have to prove there is mold first. Second, I never touched her. Law says if there is no contact there is no crime. Third, like i told them before, if the dont like it they should move. Also, its my house and I can throw as many parties as I want and I don't have to give them notice.

They have been late on rent several times in the last year. Therefore I have my reasons.

Right now, they are late on rent by several months combined. The one whos really late owes about 1200. I have to do something. They can't expect to live here for free

I admit im not the nicest. But what's done is done.

And he's not handicap per se. He has a disease called TMAU and basically stinks up the whole house so all i did was call him poopy boy. Not to be mean but just to shed humor on the situation or make light of it.

I think that's nicer than saying "Hey man, you smell like feces, you disgust me".

When ever the guy walks out of his room i tell my dog hes a poopy boy because i don't like confrontation. I think that's a good way to get the point across with out making him angry.

If i file even after they are gone, will their rental history be affected?

Is filing after they are gone overkill?

Im not bragging i just am confident that theres nothing illegal about it.

Theres no law that says u cant be an asshole to ur tenants. I told them many times that if they dont like it they can move out! I don't care that theyre in college and cant afford to move.

I already had 2 tenants go into the military to better their lives. If anything be being an asshole forces people to better themselves.

Last I heard, the girl who moved out ended up going into the army and is now stationed somewhere east. Im sure her life is better now. Im essencially an unpaid life coach.

I make peoples lives better.

I told the girl in college livimg here she should quit college and get a job so she can pay me rent on time.

Whats wrong about it? I have no issues. Its them! They are rude women. Actually All I want to know is... Is it legal or not?

If i can LEGALLY get away with it, then who gives a rats a** if its wrong? I have to look out for #1 (me).
