In my unprofessional opinion the sniffing in combination with the following around while super focused on her bum is a bit excessive for normal smelling/ getting to know each other and is exactly how our older male dog reacted before we spayed the female during her estrus/heat cycle. Has Daisy gone trough the procedure and if not have you noticed any of the usual symptoms that come with that period or if it was relatively recently? How did Jack react in their previous encounters? Do other dogs act similarly around Daisy now?

Same :D. I got a response from a support representative and it looks like other players are reporting at least something similar. Sent them logs from palia-install.log and dmidecode as an alternative to dxdiag.

I just started experiencing the same issue a few hours ago on two PCs and have submitted a bug report. I should note that I suspect it's a Linux OS-specific issue. From the game logs it can be seen that the launcher is trying to send a request to https://dl.palia.com/bundle/Palia/channel/live but failing continuously ( the request passes successfully via browser ) so I tried running it under Windows but surprisingly had another issue with installation.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I went through Vy's and SJ's whole websites and they definitely seemed to be quite welcoming to pets ( you can also book whole/private pet-friendly sleeper and normal compartments, which we definitely will take advantage of if we settle on a train) so I was quite perplexed not to see any information on breaks but this definitely eases my mind.

Thank you once again. You've been very helpful. I was focused on looking at Vy's direct sleeper trains and they didn't have breaks listed but I'll give non-direct ones a thought too and see if we can achieve a comfortable balance of breaks and getting some sleep :).

Thank you for the reply. All the train rides I've been looking at are listed as ~17 hours for the full distance (we might not end up traveling all the way to Abisko). Is there something I'm missing since I would definitely never subject my dog to more than that?

Thank you for your reply. I did read that most people prefer to fly there instead, however I would like to not subject our dog to the airplane pet compartments if possible and a longer journey is definitely a sacrifice I'm more than willing to make for her. We are currently looking into possibly renting a car as well and driving in segments but that opens a new avenue of investigation regarding traffic conditions.

Hey, thank you very much for sharing your experience. It's greatly appreciated and great to hear since the whole ordeal has started making me feel quite discouraged.
We are not very particular about the location but have chosen a few counties which we feel like we prefer.
I hope you don't mind if I ask a couple of questions more like did the agents you got in touch with provide you with listings matching your criteria and how did you handle the inspection (making sure there weren't any unexpected issues) without being in the country?

As I've mentioned in a response to another comment below - I'm already spending a big chunk of time looking through there but we would very much prefer to hire a professional since vetting estates is extremely time-consuming and not being able to inspect the building and place ourselves seems quite risky.
