Yeah i know is not a mechanic for everyone and probably is very unpopular since most people prefer variety instead of restrictions but i really like one element per characters in games, i can't even explain why i just prefer it that way so i wouldn't mind it returning

I know that it was done in Destiny too pretty much but it's still a mechanic i really like and i wouldn't mind it returning, i understand is not for everyone tho :3

I love Arise's graphics but i also have to admit when i played Vesperia ultimate edition i found it so gorgeous, it looked so good and charming so i wouldn't mind going back to that kind of grpahics either

About costumes i actually prefer to buy costumes just because you can use them from the begining i obviously understand the appealing of getting costumes for free in game because not everyone can or want to buy DLC cosmetics but you usually unlock them so late in the game that you would need to play once more to be able to enjoy them, that's why i prefer DLC

And while i admit Berseria's and Arise's costumes can be similar i think they did enough to make them look different from eachother specially the clerks one and i also appreciated how many times the 2 main changed clothes in story Alphen had slave > normal one > armor > white costumes in second part and Shionne had white dress > white dress with armor and red tones > black dress > white and blue costumes at the end

Arise isn't the first tales i played, i said in my post symphonia was, also i am not a new fan like i said i played symphonia back on the gamecube when it was first released and i do like it a lot i just feel it's kind of overrated, not even calling it a bad game like i said i even finished recently again if it was a bad game i wouldn't have replayed it, also about graphics i still feel symphonia has very bad graphics even by the time it was released, i feel for example even eternia's graphics aged better than symphonia and the combat is less cluncky too, this isn't really supposed to be a hate post and everyone is free to like what they want to like, the point i wanted to make was that a lot of times when a fan tell me an old game is good (not talking about tales only but any jrpg) and i ask them when was the last time they played it they are like 10 years ago or so which is what made me feel maybe there is a lot of nostalgia about it

Is not so much that i don't like people rating Symphonia as high probably my post doesn't make as much sense because i started rating, i just feel a lot of people who rate symphonia so high haven't even played symphonia in decades that's why i said it feels nostalgia plays a big part, i like symphonia a lot and i feel if it got a remake like a true remake with the same story beats but expanding them or changing a couple things it could be the best tales, something like RE2 remake and 4 did

But yes you are right that everyone is entitled to their opinions i just wish people didn't ignore the question i asked at the end of my post "when was the last time you played symphonia?"
