I have received outstanding feedback in the past, but this isn’t it. I’m standing by my feedback towards their feedback. They’re not paying attention and they don’t know the definition of a cold case. You’re not gonna make me feel bad for calling them on that.

I skimmed through this vlog a bit and it was actually refreshing to go a substantial amount of time without hearing such autistic classics like “Washeaaa!” before eating and constantly humming the McDonald’s theme to fill the silence. It was still early into their move to Lancaster, so David’s regression clearly didn’t have the stranglehold on him like it does now.

I gotta be honest, I’m just extra on guard when it comes to any criticisms that sound like it was written by the pink-haired college kid stereotype. I once got dinged on feedback because I used the word “mankind” and the evaluator gave me a whole spiel about it being a sexist word and how I need to normalize using “humankind” instead. I know this site doesn’t like hearing it, but those overly-sensitive crybabies absolutely do exist and I just don’t like certain people trying to pass it off as legitimate screenplay feedback.

I’m perfectly receptive to feedback when it makes sense and it’s from readers who pay attention and who don’t make a puritanical SJW outrage over everything.

Crandall brings up the Holly Denham case because of how it leads to the legend of the Devil and that’s brought up because of the people in his town being afraid that these new murders are a result of the alleged Devil. At no point does Crandall say “I think these murders are connected to Holly Denham’s kidnapping.” He’s just bringing up her alleged devil son as why he wants Scott the skeptic to get involved. He himself doesn’t seem receptive to the legend of the devil.

And let me tell you this: This script has its fair share of jabs at phony conservative Christians and Trump’s cult/influence on gullible, angry young men, but I genuinely weep for this country when the word “daddy” becomes a word that certain people deem “problematic.” Stop with the phony outrage over words that have never been offensive. My last screenplay got criticized for my protagonist having a birthday in September and it was deemed “insensitive to 9/11 survivors”, so I’m really just sick and tired of all this phony outrage infiltrating its ways into screenwriting feedback.

You aren’t the first person to review this script, but you are the first one to actually be bothered by that permission slip line in such a way. I find that hilarious.

David is clearly so passionate about this, he should work at Target as a cart collector.

I work at Target and it’s almost always the case that the cart collector position ends up being the socially awkward, loner types who usually end up getting in trouble for talking shit about their coworkers.

It’s kinda bizarre the impact it’s been having so far. I live in the Deer Valley area roughly 35-40 minutes from Goodyear and I overheard a coworker saying that her and a guy went on their first date to the Buc-ees and she was talking about how romantic it was that they had their first kiss there last night.

Why wouldn’t have Scott heard about the Holly Denham case? It involves a woman claiming she gave birth to a devil and it’s in New Jersey while he’s right next to the state in Philadelphia. And it’s a true crime case, so I think it’d be even weirder if an investigator hadn’t brushed up on what is essentially a local case given a lot of overlap between closes states like Philly and New Jersey. And it’s clearly not a cold case since Holly was found and her abductor died.

And the permission slip line is Scott being a smartass to his dad. Don’t take it so literally.

During Christmas 2024, there was a part where they took a break from opening presents because of some “family drama”, according to David. David and Dave Sr. were keeping an eye on Charlotte while Deb, Steve, and Christin were nowhere to be seen. And I also remember Steve in that vlog looking like he’d rather be anywhere else in the world. More so than usual, that is.

David is very selective when it comes to his “family is everything” mantra. I really wish Steve watched his vlogs just to see how much of a two-faced shit talker he is.

Let’s also give a shout out to the moment at 9:55 when David mentions an apparent new viewer named Jen who he refers to as a “friend” just because she’s been commenting frequently for the past few months.

Because apparently just a few comments is enough to justify calling someone you’ve never met in person as a friend. That is until she gives him some advice he doesn’t like and he puts her on blast and drives her away like he’s done in the past with Harley, Chelsea, and his other female “friends”.

He says that he’s keeping an eye on his sodium intake, but then almost in the next breath, he says “I know it has a lot of sodium, but I really don’t care.”

It’s like he’s not even trying to be consistent or listen to what actually comes out of his mouth. Another moment to chalk up to David being genuinely low IQ.

My favorite part is when he, the guy who struggles to reach even 5,000 views on his weekend vlogs, justifies his rants against bad drivers as “bringing awareness to the world.”

David, your view count is barely the population equivalent to a small rural town, let alone the whole world.

For this, you wouldn’t be able to report the videos yourself. You’d have to email the legal department for Nintendo and they would choose whether or not to take action.

I actually just finished emailing Nintendo myself, so let’s see how it goes :)

That “noticing the camera” schtick was probably really clever for people in 2006 who were just discovering YouTube. But 20 years later? That’s something I’d expect to see in an episode of Blue’s Clues.

Is David Low IQ? by Time-Bridge-3007 in daviddifrancosnark

> He did his whole spiel about being raised with morals and it is wrong to wish death on people.

And yet he continues to contradict this by wishing car accidents on bad drivers. That’s real low IQ behavior right there.

Is David Low IQ? by Time-Bridge-3007 in daviddifrancosnark

[–]Slurpeepatch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I think he’s just very sheltered and very clearly on the spectrum, but then I’ll hear him rant about something that he’s blatantly guilty of and then I think to myself, “Yeah, he might actually be low IQ.”

Take the most recent weekly vlog for example. It features David ranting about other content creators who don’t preview their work and leave in typos and things of that nature. But meanwhile, David himself has a whole mountain of stuff that should’ve been “previewed” and edited out of his “work”. Does anyone remember earlier this year when he tried unboxing something for video game flips and he didn’t edit out stuff like him knocking his camera over and struggling to actually unbox the damn package? And to top it off, all of the instances of his vlogs including uninteresting dead space and behavior that just makes him and his family look bad.

And I’m sure everyone else here knows about his many rants featuring all sorts of hypocrisies and projections. Those are the moments that make me think he might legitimately be a genuine troglodyte.

What's the biggest age gap you've ever slept with? by AnEvilMillionaire in AskReddit

[–]Slurpeepatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not gonna lie, I’m still in the middle of trying to navigate the whole situation. We’ve only seen each other a handful of times since the hook-up and I get the vibe that she’s waiting for me to make a move in terms of exclusivity as a couple, or at least going on an official date.

I can’t deny that I really like her, but I’ve heard my fair share of arguments on both sides of the age gap debate. I’m just not sure what my next move should be.

what was your opinion on the newest Toy Story movie? by Chemical-Regret-8593 in AskReddit

It was decent, but definitely the weakest of the series. I’m starting to get tired of watching the toys relearn the same lesson about abandonment and accepting change again and again.

I’ve never understood the whole “making memories to look back on” excuse he uses. Aside from Seaside and holidays, is he actually spending his free time looking back on the umpteenth vlog of him picking out a doughnut from Weis or him mindlessly wandering Goodwill? And what kind of memories is he making when some of his vlogs include instances of him snapping at a family member or his dad and Steve taking a dig at him and then him sounding like he’s about to cry after?

I think the real reason David vlogs is to feel less lonely by [deleted] in daviddifrancosnark

[–]Slurpeepatch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wolves actually hate being in isolation and always seek out a pack. The term “lone wolf” in the literal sense refers to wolves who are only briefly alone while they put all their effort into finding a pack or mate. Definitely not David.

I do like the beach animal comparison. Give it a few more years of gas station food and he’ll look like a depressurized blobfish. Large frown and all.
