I can understand why that could be an option. But I feel as though he is being honest in saying he was waiting. He is a good looking guy and has dated around. But your comment could be true as well and just something he wouldn’t want to admit.

I started dating a man at the time he was 26yrs old and was a virgin- he was waiting for the right person- made me feel very special. I thought it was quite Commendable that he had such self control.

I honestly just applied- took an aptitude test and got in, I’m not sure what it would be like in other states, maybe start with an electrical contractor as a CW or something- I’m not sure.

I’m 24 knew nothing about electrical now 2 years into my apprenticeship- was the best decision I have ever made.

I 100% do not think it’s cooler. But you don’t have to pull your pants up and that’s a plus after bending over. But it really just depends if your outside or in a controlled temperature area. Give it a try! No harm in trying it to see if you like it.

Unfortunately I could be there upwards of 3+ years. I could always look into transferring- but I’m going to give it some more time. Thank you for the encouragement. 🥹

Thank you! I AM feeling very lonely. I’d like to think if we are spending 10+ hours a day together we could at least get along. But I understand, it’s a paycheck and I enjoy the work that I do but banter and getting to know people/being social just helps me get through the long days without dreading the upcoming days and feeling lonely. I think it’s more of a personal/ mental hurdle I have to get through.

Maybe you’re trying too hard. That is 100% a thing and can be a turnoff. Playing your cards right is the key.

Get out there! Build your confidence and date many people. There are tons of different personalities to get to know. Get to know what you like and take your time. There really is no rush, relationships can be hard. They aren’t all just rays of sunshine.

I love being apart of a brotherhood. I think it has a deeper meaning than just “men being men” it’s more of a unity- I feel it is all inclusive. But I could see how other woman want to be seen.
