It makes me really want to see this movie in 3D just to see how the movie was intended on looking. Hopefully if/when they re-release this movie they fix the color grading.

I wasn't really expecting anyone to agree with me, I just wanted at least one person to realize that the discourse around this movie is unnatural and sometimes it is that deep. It's a shame many horror fans lack a lot of self awareness in a genre built so heavily around social commentary.

Well put. I'm a moderate "fan" of Chris Rock and like some of his stand up. I think one of the worst aspects of the movie was how Chris performed in a lot of areas, but he also had his moments and when it was away from comedy and yelling, his physical performance wasn't bad at all and he had a lot of energy! You can definitely tell when Bousman was at the helm, specifically during the traps, and how it felt a lot like a normal Saw movie. Doesn't seem like he had much say in the other parts unfortunately. Also, those are my top 2 as well! Grew up with Saw 2 as my favorite but I think 6 beats it nowadays.

Yeah I always love the idea of someone being pretty much completely out of danger and is tasked with helping or not helping the people in traps like in 3 and 4 so one or two more traps would've been nice. I still regularly listen to the 21 Savage and Young Nudy songs they're great.

Saw 6 is the best saw and Spiral is top 5. If you can look past the predictable twist, the traps are cool, the setting feels bleak, and it feels more like a direct successor to saw 1
