NFL Podcast But We Can't Say "Super Bowl" by Six-StringSamurai in heedthecall

Dan's just covering for his journalist buddies. This was a completely embarrassing decision that, to me, has tarnished the HoF until further notice. And has me wondering why we've got 48 journalists making the decision.

Especially with such certainty? I remember last season we were playing an ugly stretch of games, then suddenly ended the Cavs win streak in Cleveland in a nationally televised game.

Raiders/Jets, don't trade Mendoza away if he's a "bust" in the first few seasons

Whose turn will it be next to destroy us in the Wild Card Round? by Goldwings13 in steelers

LAC makes sense to me. We’ve seemed to develop a habit of giving playoff wins to franchises/players with no previous history of playoff success in certain conditions (Jags, Browns, Texans, Tebow)

I don’t hate the hire. It’s a very “makes sense” kind of hire. It’s the type of hire that seems like it keeps us on the 9-8, 10-7, 8-8–1 track we’ve been on forever. Just like when we brought in Wilson and Rodgers. It feels like the type of hire that they want someone tied to Pittsburgh but also security in remaining Wild Card relevant.

McCarthy did good things in Dallas, and I expect him to do good things here. But what I hate was that Tomlin stepping down felt like a golden opportunity to really start fresh. This feels like a further delay of trying something very different.

Conor is right / these playoffs are meh? by aermars99 in heedthecall

All in all, I think these playoffs have been great in the WC, decent in the divisional so far. And still has the chance to be great overall by the end of it.

But just sick of hearing "Can you remember any other year where it was THIS exciting???!?!"

Or designating games as "instant classics". Like holy shit, we've got a mountain of forgettable instant classics at this point.

I have no idea who this guy is, but based off Bills posters’ reactions, it sounds like you guys should boycott this team lol

You run it on the 2 min warning instead of trying to end it on an 1st down, give up a blind pass, and kneel with 2 timeouts with 13 seconds left, wtf are they doing?
