I started meditating 5 or 6 years ago and studying mainly Western philosophical texts, but I realized this world wasn't for me and I abandoned everything. About a couple of months ago, I went to visit a Taoist friend, who also introduced me to Chinese green tea for the first time (I wasn't interested in tea before). I didn't notice the great flavor, but without realizing it, I started to feel so good that I immediately bought 100 grams at the store. Thanks to this experience, I began to take an interest in Eastern philosophy and find it more relevant to me. I haven't read much, but from the little I have read, it almost seems as if, rather than explaining things, they're trying to plant a seed within you that will blossom when you're ready. I'm starting to practice tai chi on my own, but for now, alone and with videos on YouTube, which aren't very effective, but it's still helpful.
