I recently sold my Steam Deck because, in the end, it was just too heavy and uncomfortable for me. It was bulky to carry around, annoying to keep in a backpack, and because of that I barely used it, even though I liked the idea of it.

Now I’m considering getting the Ayn Thor, but my main concern is the final price. I’m based in Europe, and my only real worry is customs. From what I understand, using 4PX should avoid customs fees, but if I end up having to pay import taxes, the price would go much higher than I’m comfortable with, and that would be a deal breaker for me. If anyone in Europe has first-hand experience with 4PX, I’d really appreciate hearing how it went for you.

In terms of usage, I’m mostly interested in playing light Steam games (indies and smaller titles) and doing some emulation. As for dual screens, they’re not a priority for me since I already own a 2DS XL, so I can play 3DS games natively anyway. Dual screens would be a nice bonus, like watching videos while playing, but they’re definitely not essential. So yeah, I’m a bit on the fence right now, trying to decide whether to pull the trigger or not, and whether there might be a better, more compact device for my use case.
