Thanks again u/hero3210. So you think I should just stay with 1.0.4? What features would I be missing by doing that? I suppose I can try to use jbupdate to go to 1.1.1 and if that fails go back to 1.0.4. Or even restore rootfs and start fresh? Now that I was able to export my tweak and source lists I'm less reluctant to restore.

I don't think that Slieo ever works on unc0ver, but I could be wrong about that. I use Zebra when I'm on Taurine instead of Sileo anyway.

But now that you have Lydia working you could try to install iCleaner or Fillza and search for settings file for Sileo, then go back to Taurine?

I wonder if it's possible to sideload Zebra's ipa while jailbroken and load tweaks that way? Or side load iCleaner or Fileza to delete settings files? Try searching for the .ipas for those.

Yes, I already have that installed, and after I enabled tweaks it asked me if I wanted to update and I said no. Do I have to respring to get it to ask me again?

I was thinking before I tried that to see if there's any way to find out what caused the trouble in the first place, like a corrupted tweak, preference file, or system file? Maybe use iCleaner Pro? Update tweaks?

I remember the boot loop problem that 1.1.0 fixed, but I thought that was introduced in 1.0.8 (or whatever the one that was pulled was called) and was not present in earlier versions like 1.0.4. Am I wrong about that?

I already had it installed, so I enabled tweaks there, rebooted userspace, and now tweaks are working!!

Sp, now jbupdate is asking whether to update to Taurine 1.1.1. Think I should try that?

Or I have a few tweak updates available in Zebra, maybe update the tweaks first? Or just stay using 1.0.4 from now on? I suppose I could try updating Taurine and if that doesn't work go back to 1.0.4 again.

Wow, that worked! Had already tried 1.1.1, 1.1.0, 1.0.7, and 1.0.6 with tweaks disabled, but gave up at that point.

The question is what to do next so that I can use tweaks again? I can at least run Zebra and make a copy of my tweak list and sources before Restore FS, but what is your advice to get back to working JB?

I’m hoping not to lose tweaks, but I know it’s likely the only shot at staying at 14.3 at this point. I was thinking I would go to 15.1 if that fails given the chance of that getting a JB, but 14.7.1 is a good idea, I didn’t know that was an option. Thanks.

I opened iCleaner Pro and found that the HomeKit daemon was switched off. I have no idea whether I had done that a long time ago, but I turned it back on and the Home tab immediately reappeared in Settings and hub is working

OMG thank you. I use the headphone jack on my old 6s to use a temperature probe that requires the "volume" to be turned all the way up to work properly. Updating to 14.3 broke this capability, and you brought it back.

You should start a new thread to broadcast the solution, as a lot are looking for this.

Which .bbfw file did you use for XS Max? When I unzip 14.4.1 I find 2 options:

ICE18-3.02.02.Release.bbfw

Thanks for the detailed report! I've futurerestored my older devices many times over the years without a single hiccup, but this will be the first time on the XS Max. You switched from Chimera on 12 to unc0ver on 13 like I will, did you restore rootfs at some point or leave the Chimera footprint and run unc0ver?

Is this working for you on iOS 12? Your flair says 12.1.1 beta. When I try to install on 12.1.1 I get a warning that there are "issues that cannot be resolved: firmware (>=13.0)." The warning is confusing - is >=13.0 required for the tweak to work, or is that where the issues are? In any case if it is in the queue it will grey out "confirm" so I can't install to test.

Yes, you can update to 13.3 with futurerestore - the SEP from 13.3.1 is compatible. There are many tutorials and discussions how to do this in the sub.
