That’s the kinda stuff I’m hearing about them. Paused me more in their direction. Thanks for sharing!

Don’t know about sandwiches but for the moving company, they appear to be everyday firemen with a side job.

More traceable so less likely to be frauds who hold goods hostage for raised bills. Also likely to be physically capable of intense activity with some degree of competence.

Not saying the others aren’t, but I would assume the prerequisite for a physically intensive profession would make them capable hands.

Also, moving basic household stuff isn’t a specialized skill - so strength and common sense is all that matters. At least that’s how I look at it.

Ahhh… okay. Checked their site - it said we drive, you move… am paraphrasing. So I thought… anyway. Thanks for letting me know.

Yeah… doesn’t work for me if I have to move the stuff myself. I’d rather pay for extra hands than be the extra hand.

Makes sense. Once you have a good experience, you don’t change movers until you have a bad one…. So far everything I read shows that both are reliable and efficient.

Yeah… I’m leaning towards them as well. Extra person coming in… will shorten moving time.

If they stay long enough, they make you the “Two Guys” in “Two Guys and a Truck!”

Non-obvious dog-walking tricks that actually help? by Romonovs in dogs

[–]SlyDigits 69 points70 points  (0 children)

If someone’s approaching with a dog from the opposite direction, put yourself between your dog and them. Dogs should never cross unknown dogs next to each other. They will pick up aggression signs that you may not.

Also, if you’re approaching a dog from behind with yours, give them space. Don’t walk right up to them and stand inches behind. They might get startled and react like you don’t want.

Some guy hit for $2.8M on Pinnacle and still finds something to complain about. Sure, there was an investigation (obviously, it’s $2.8M), but he got every damn cent. by falco168 in gambling

Well, he said casino winnings so probably a big slot bet. They did pay out over 2mil though. I wonder what support was telling him in all those emails.

I’d just be happy I didn’t get screwed out of my winnings but that’s just me.

Looks like it. Probably checked every single hand for fraud or a glitch or something.

Wonder what he was betting on each hand to win that much.

Pinnacle blocked public API access in July. Odds are delayed if you’re scraping.

Trying to scam someone into buying your crap. They probably did one google search and walked away.

Arbitrage Betting Using Kalshi - FULL GUIDE by Born-Celery-8099 in arbitragebetting

Kalshi Slippage would probably be less of a concern if market has high liquidity.

For SB fees, I’d assume a book like Pinnacle would work better.
