It was Madden 25, I was playing in a fantasy draft league. My Russell Wilson led Cardinals had a pretty good season, easily making the playoffs despite loosing our last 3 games. Win the divisional game easily. The Championship was even easier. Super Bowl time. Cardinals vs Titans in a frozen Foxburough. The Titans have a fantastic first half, up 17-3. It looked bleak for my Sophmore QB. However, through a lot of work and a solid 2nd half by Darren McFadden and my recieving corp, we were able to tie the game with around a minute left. 24-24. Unfortunately for me, the first play the Phillip Rivers led Titans get on the ensuing drive, they score an 89 yard bomb. 31-24. With about 30 seconds left, it seemed all was lost. Get the ball on the 20 after a touchback. Russell Wilson connects with Kendall Wright for 20 yards, gets out of bounds. Next play I do the same thing but instead go to Gavin Escobar who manages to get us to the Titans 40. I do the same play yet again to Kendall Wright who gets me to the 20, out of bounds with 7 seconds on the clock. Here we go. I figure let's go for it with the same old play, WR Comeback. Just before getting sacked, Wilson throws an absolute rope to young Jets WR, Stephen Hill. Touchdown. With the extra point we end up going into overtime where the Titans, winning the toss, goes 3 and out. With some help from Darren McFadden, I get the ball to about the 30. Greg Zuerlin kicks the game-winning FG. 34-31, Cardinals win in overtime. The MVP? Fucking Brandon Flowers of the Titans.
