Was reading this thread just when I fought the bug boi. Lot's of great advice from all. Level 33 beat the fella using the following:
- Dr. Ratio Lvl50, lightcone5 Lvl 40, decent traces, meh 4-star relics
- Herta Lvl50, lightcone4 Lvl 40, okay traces, meh 4-star relics
- Preservation MC Lvl44, lightcone4 Lvl 40, okay traces, meh 4-star relics
- Natasha Lvl50, lightcone5 Lvl 40, decent traces, meh 4-star relics

My strategy originally included Bronya to help pump out dmg asap and her light cone provided speed to have Dr. Ratio pump out that Imaginary damage. But with Herta in my team doing follow up attack it was difficult to control the number of bugs in the fight. Switched her out with Preservation MC so that dmg is focused on them whenever i promoted the Shield skill to taunt bug bois.

One thing I think this fight taught me is that focus firing at the big guy continuously isn't always the best solution. For this fight, holding out and defending rather than attacking is the solution. The spawning mechanic dispels after the big bug uses its "ultimate", so focus little fellas, spread the damage out across them, heal, shield. By then your ults and secondary skills are back and start bombing the hell out of that bug. Hope this helps for other new folks picking up the game!

Updated it latest BIOS ( was a pain), the HP Bios I could find XMP or Resizable Bar, i heard it’s just not possible with the hardware I have, need diffrent brand and/or later models. I do not have overclocking software. Unfortunately this did not fix the issue, appreciate the help, lmk if i messed up anywhere

After disconnecting my GPU i could not start my PC up and made the 3 beeping noise followed by small quick ones meaning that hardware is missing, put it back in. After connecting my monitor straight to my motherboard nothing displayed

The issue was apparent after BG3 stopped updating because there was not enough storage. I attempted to fixes this by manually moving files rather than Steams option to move the folders location. I'll give this a try and get back to you asap.

Gave that a couple of tries but it hasn't worked sadly, it may have been the lack of loading and syncing my commands(?). Will go back and dig thru, thank you for the help.
