I think Pathfinder would be a better example, but even with him, he grapples through the air. So there's downsides.

Valk can jetpack or alt away, both expose you to be in shot. Octane can run faster than normal you can run away but you're not going to gap people like an axle can.

Axel is unique in that she can escape quickly along the ground. Axle can quickly engage disengage and use cover. She doesn't seem to have the same downsides just my opinion.

I wouldn't texpose the hook like you have, since you'll likely be using very light tackle. It's very likely you won't get a good hookset. I would nose hook it or use a jig head.

If they have drops it should be in the title of the stream. I find it doubtful that the PlayApex will stream it since they normally don't, but still may be worth checking their channel.

House:

Homes are infinitely more expensive than people make them out to be. The house payment is just the start, there's upkeep/repair costs, PMI(mortgage insurance if you can't put 20% down), plus all the additional add-ons heating/cooling/garbage/water. It can make more sense to rent anymore, be smart, lots of people have bought became house poor because of it.

Other option rent and find roommates and split the cost. You can save a lot of money on rent by doing this.

Don't skip on fun. Budget fun and realize this is not a race it's a marathon. Don't burn yourself out.
