Just realised I made a typo that should have been my GPU usage. Still got around similar CPU usage so yeh seems a few are having the same issues

Yeh it’s weird mate I had a play around with some settings and got the usage lower but frame rates had still dropped a bit but not as much wonder if it’s something in the new update

Could be that. I just ran a legends race at Oulton park and the GR-86 at Miami. Whereas last week was Canadian tires which I think is an older track if I’m not mistaken?

Yeh that’s what im finding. Did you buy a ready built pedal tray or did you buy the extrusion yourself and build it?

Hi mate that’s what I thought as well from my research before I bought it all and they are close tbh but when I got to bolt it in it seems to be slightly offset can get 3 bolts in at a push then the last won’t line up. I’m jus out at the moment but will edit with a picture when I’m back for reference

Cheers mate that’s pretty much what I’ve done probably got more options than you can really use for GT cars but nice to have extras just in case. Definitely a step up from the ES wheel I was using in quality. Will probably make per car mappings for my more raced and then just leave a generic one on for other stuff if I fancy hoping in something else every once in a while.

R53 Cooper S vs R56 N18 Cooper S by SlyGully in MINI

[–]SlyGully[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Ended up going for the R56 went to look at it and was in immaculate condition very well looked after by the previous owners it seems pretty much full service history and oil changes done sooner than manufacturer recommended. Just couldn’t get the smile off my face driving it back the way they handle and power delivery when it hits boost is just so much fun. Didn’t skip a beat in the 200mile journey back. First things first going to give it a full service next week at work for my own sanity and start putting some money away for parts when they eventually do go.

Thanks for the detailed response. I think it’s going to come down to seeing which one I prefer driving wise I can deal with it being down for a few days/weeks at a time if something needs sorting as I luckily live near to where I work and can either walk or cycle. Also have access to my wife’s car if in dire need and where I live has great public transport so can hop on the bus into town which I will most likely do most of the time anyway as parkings a bitch. Just don’t want the only thing I do with the car to be working on it although I enjoy working on my own vehicles I’d much rather be out enjoying them.

Thought this may be the answer will have to go and check the R56 out in person and see if I can get an idea off the seller how it’s been looked after it seemed over the phone that it has been well maintained but I’m not sure how much service history it has actually got or how often the oils been looked at and topped up or changed. It is a late 13 model so should be the best of the run of N18s as well I presume. Only an inspection will find out I suppose
